It's said to use the same 200MP sensor from the S23 Ultra, though.

    Bring back the microSDXC

So nothing significant then. Let's wait for S24 lineup so we can get the 23s at a discount.

Had mates with them (s21 ultras) and did in life comparisons including low light slo mo, no contest lol (they were suprised how good it was).

I do agree samsung need to up their game with the other cams, maybe not zoom distances but definitely quality vs what some of the competition have been doing in terms of quality. Need to see another 2013-2017, when we saw proper progression imo.

Let's see Samsung, the periscope lens and the telephoto lens of the s24 will be weaker than that of the s21 ultra, which by the way I had it and it is for me the best telephoto lens that a mobile phone has ever carried !! but is this a joke or what?

                50MP 3x telephoto?? NOT ENOUGH!!!

                S24 ULTRA MUST HAVE:
                - Next 1 inch update sensor from IMX989 (better than IMX989) for main camera (i think 2024 sony will release the next gen of IMX989 (maybe IMX1090 :v)
                - IMX989 Ultrawide
                - IMX890 for 3x and 10x tele
                - Better selfie camera

Over again, the megapixel count is pointless. If the sensor size is the same (a tiny 1/3.5" sensor) then there won't be any improvement to quality.

                  I'd choose an 8MP 1/2.55" over a 50 MP 1/3.5"

Where is the 3x 200 Mpix or maybe 3x 400 Mpix???
                    Only 50 is not enough.

No HDR downsides. Does not take me 10s to fix.

Few years ago, I saw photo from pixel 5 side by side with another phone.
Foreground was so underexposed in favor of sky there was no way to tell the color the car was. Could easily guess white, silver, pearl or beige.
Thenother phone exposed car correctly, even at bit expense of background.

Also, a clarity here:- I'm NOT referring to Google's Pixel series of phones. I'm referring to big pixels, as in higher micrometer sized individual pixel sites.
To be honest, it took years to just match the Nokia N8's colours. Check its butterfly pic that was used in its promotions. The colours were just beautiful.

And underexposed pics are not a problem in any camera, you can just increase exposure. Am I missing your question in entirity?
