Why Qualcomm why ??? This one had better be a 2+6 configuration to succeed 782G.....what you have done ? A better 6 gen 1 which isn't inside even a single device ??

Sad thing with all the debates on these chips is that the masses won't care since all they do, from top end Snapdragon to low end mediatek, is just browse social media and take cute pictures and videos.
What a waste of rare earth minerals.

Artem S. Tashkinov, 18 Sep 2023No AV1 decoding, sigh.Really? How is that possible? Google really should make AV1 support mandatory on any new models being released.

Now release Samsung A55 with this chipset coupled by 8GB ram and 256GB storage. Plus 5000 mah battery and 120HZ 6.5 or 6.7 inch screen. And good camera too. All this under 500 dollars and not more.

[deleted post]Who do you think you are to constantly call me a troll? Me, or anyone else, that doesn't matter, but what's the matter with you?
Stop following me and fabricating lies about me, you damn creep.
You quoted my comment from this article, which pretty much everyone has agreed with, except you, and that's that.
"..this short personal message to Troll.."
If it's personal, that means it has nothing to do with GSMArena, this article, or any phone mentioned here, so keep it away from here.

Hemedans, 18 Sep 2023Samsung 4nm is better than Tsmc 6nm anyway, i dont know why... moreThe numbers don't compare. Samsung's 4nm is as efficient as TSMC's 28nm.

jerem06, 18 Sep 2023Seen on the ARM website (Cortex A710): Draws on efficiency ... moreLmao, you are heavily misinformed, please leave this site. Geekerwan did a VERY DEEP dive/review of power efficiency of different Cortex cores and their TSMC/Samsung version. The A710 is WAY LESS EFFICIENT than the A78. Marketing numbers and real-life numbers are different. Heck, the the A710 is BARELY more efficient than a TSMC A77 core lmao
The Dimensity 8100 for example which both uses the excellent TSMC node + efficient A78 cores manages to EQUAL the APPLE A14 in power efficiency, a feat that even the 8PLUS Gen1 nor the Dimensity 9000 from the same generation can't even match. You know the main reason why the 8PlusGen1 and D9000 cant match the D8100's efficiency? because of the A710 cores.
Actual test result real life numbers ARE BETTER than marketing numbers that ARM uses.

Whether the name is confusing or not it does not matter what is important is how capable the new chip will be and how much will cost in each device .
Results are important not naming,

Tensynos 4 to be used by Pixel 9 is gonna use same GPU from Tensynos 3 (upcoming Pixel 8).

all these chipset introduction feel empty, there
's not much too look forward to, even in this year, sd 7+ gen 2 only appear in one phone which is poco f5 in my country, and due to that, the markup is crazy since no competition, and if you want 7+ gen 2, you gotta pay that markup price.
so, for this 7s gen 2, i doubt it'll even come to my country.

Maybe raw performance like a snapdragon 865. Which would be great for mid range gaming and beat 98 of 100 other budget gamkng capable phones out there

jerem06, 18 Sep 2023Seen on the ARM website (Cortex A710): Draws on efficiency ... moreI'm with Hemedans on this. The A710 wasn't up to the promises they made, and was actually worse than the A78. Same goes for the A510. That's why ARM made the A715 and updated the A510 cores, check these news
