Carol, 20 Sep 2023What the are you talking about? Nokia is a Private company ... moreYou need to learn how regulation works. You need regulatory approval to buy or sell companies (public or private). A regulatory body usually is part of government, which can block sell. Recently UK's regulatory commission block the sell of ARM to USA's Nvidia. The same way Finnish regulatory commission (aka Finnish Government) could have blocked the sell of Nokia, but Finnish government didnt. The result defunt Nokia mobile and loss of lots of job for Finnish people.

Also, Nokia is not a private company, it is a public company. So get proper information.

Swaraj, 20 Sep 2023There is no longer a globalized tech world anymore there ... moreIf Chinese companies are able to operate in Western countries because they complied with the local laws in there. Now western companies won't and you cry about it. It's just fair game. And no, no one is gonna arrest you in China if you use a VPN to access Facebook or YouTube, as shown by vloggers broadcasting from China.
Universities are also equipped so students can access these western websites without vpn.
They are not as oppressed as how you were made to believe by western media.

My experience with T-Mobile phones is that they have more cell radio options enabled, global bands, longer support, and there's no hassle to unlock them. It makes sense because they advertise international roaming.

Their current selection of phones isn't for me, though.
