Still rocking my A52s 5G. If official supports stop, I'll just use a custom ROM until it's end then upgrade time!

In old Nokia days, phones could last 10 years. You only need to change the battery if it swells. I still remember when I bought a Nokia phone and after 3 years of usage, I could still say that it is relatively new. But in this smartphone era, my flagship phone feels old after 2 years of usage. These smartphone companies now are really good in convincing you to change phone often because of this or that. I think planned obsolescence is actively working for cash to keep coming. So sad generation.

Still using Galaxy Note 10 from 2019 until now, love the phone size with S-Pen inside, just replace the battery...working just fine, sometimes a bit warm with so so battery life, maybe because the old Exynos inside, will use it until the phone give up. I'm thinking to buy another phone, maybe another droid with great battery life or try to use Iphone.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2023S10e from Black Friday 2019, still works great and I still ... moreSame here. I had S10+ in early 2020 (pre-lockdowns) after observing that s20+'s Exynos is getting hot for basic usage. I do not plan to change it any time soon. This phone serves 80% of what newer 1200$ flagships do. I don't need to spend that much just to get a few minor upgrades. Also, the fact that the economy of my country is dipping badly, flagships here are 3x more expensive now. I just got a new display after I cracked mine and a battery change may come soon. I will make it last long around 6-7 years, then I will probably move to a basic phone like Tecno/Infinix/Galaxy A/Redmi because they all have basic boxes ticked.

I have been using my Redmi Note 4X for the past 7 years. I have just picked up an used Poco F2 Pro last week because the screen on the Redmi got damaged and some apps aren't supported with the old OS. I am going to keep the old one around though after hopefully getting the screen fixed.

I bought my phone in either late 2006 or early 2007 - it's a Sony-Ericsson K750i, pay as you go. I've been using it for at least 16 years.
But I have to switch to a smartphone soon, because EE are sending me texts saying they are going to turn off 3g.
At the moment, I can still access the web on the K750i using the Opera Mini browser, although it won't play YouTube videos or do anything complex.

Using Redmi 10 2022 right now that I bought Feb this year for only $110. It runs perfectly and I am planning to use this for 3 years. I do hope Xiaomi is still support this phone but I kinda doubt it since it is already got 2 Android updates.
Before that I was using Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 that I used for 3 years. It worked perfectly fine but the battery was bloated and cracked the screen. I just changed the battery and leave the screen alone since the touch screen is actually still works.
