Still rocking a iPhone XS since launch. Still powerful enough. Battery is still 80%. Still waiting for pro motion on the normal iPhones. Hate the camera bump on the pros

AnonD-512010, 29 Oct 2023You can just specify the name.Samsung F41 is the name of my phone, battery lost around 5 percent charging capacity in 3 years.
Many commented and they claim to be long term user of their phones, nice to see that not everyone likes to change their phones like changing clothes.😅

My last phone was 6y old when I switched and the age wasn't really the reason for switching. It was that an amazing deal presented itself. 70usd for an S20.
The reason I had it for so long was that it had a feature modern phones don't have which is a large 16:9in oled.
Now I'm using a small phone again (S20) since the aspect ratio is crap 20:9. It means I can't fully enjoy media anymore then there's no point (for me) in carrying a larger display.
So I went from phablet (which I loved) to tiny S20, and gave up media. Now when traveling I feel compelled to bring a tablet with me which I previously didn't need. More crap to carry long distance. Less for short distance. Less time actually using the device.

Current phone : Poco F5 pro (2023)
Previous phone : Motorola Edge S (Bought in 2021, Lost in 2022)
Before that : Xiaomi Mi Max (Forgot when buy, but unrepairable on 2021)
Xiaomi Mi Max, I replaced the battery few times, motherboard one time and display one times because the back is removable. Then I feel like the phone is getting slower n slower and draining battery fast by 2021..

HyperionBurn, 29 Oct 2023hmm i guess but wouldnt it just be easier to have 1 phone? Not really, I find it convenient that three phones are scattered around the room and I grab whichever is closest to me. If I go outside I only bring one phone though.

Currently, the oldest functioning smartphone I have in my collection is the 2013 Nokia Lumia 1020. I still love its camera performance after a decade and I still highly rate Windows Phone as my top favourite mobile OS. Frankly, the only reason why I was forced to go back to Android is because of WhatsApp.

Why are people replacing their phones frequently? Welp, phone companies succeeded in thier marketings, thats why. Social engineering at its finest.

Sumsung S9+ (2018) is just over 5 years old and no longer receiving security patches. Iphone 15s 8+ years of patchimg is tempting.

I got the base version iPhone 13 the day it launched more than 2 years ago.
Still love it very much and it runs great.
Currently at 90% battery health , might need a battery change next year.
I plan to use it for a total of 5 years , so 3 more years to go still.
And I'm happy to know that I'll still be getting the latest software updates for at least the next 3 years.

Samsung S10 still beastly phone, Exynos 9820 aged very well and still is very good chip, equal to mid range class chip of this day and it easily lasted 4 years. Any flagship these day with 8 gen 2 will last 5 years minimum.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2023S10e from Black Friday 2019, still works great and I still ... moreI'm a fellow S10e user too! I recommend waiting for the S24 series first, then deciding on either that, or getting the S23 at a discount. That's what I plan to do 😀
