-Trix-, 29 Oct 2023Probably enjoying his iPhone 15 Pro Max like me 😁🤣🤣🤣🤣 , I can't believe it I bought the 15 pro black in 1TB, though I deeply hate the iOS and phone. Getting use too it, nothing close like Android, every time you have too reach the far left too go back, on android at the bottom it has 3 buttons .
Huge day night difference,

My last daily driver was redmi note 8 pro, and yes it was about time to change, how I know when to change? Well it's old, buggy and sluggish, obviously because old hardware and really outdated tech, now I'm using Poco f5 and it seems to be really good so far, I don't even know when is the next good time frame to change, I may or may not change soon

Had a Xiaomi Mi 9T. Had to buy another one because I had problems with the screen and was fucked over by the seller regarding the warranty. Using a Realme GT 5G rn. Hoping to keep it for at least 4 years since I have a flagship chip and performance shouldn't be an issue for quite a while

Minu, 29 Oct 2023Btw how many phones do you use on a daily basis, and what... moreMainly three, the OP 7 Pro, Pixel 4, and Mi 11. The first two are easy to switch between as they're both running AOSP (custom ROM on 7Pro). I'm definitely not used to MIUI on the Mi 11 though, planning to flash a custom ROM on it soon so that all my devices run AOSP.
Edit: Actually make that 4 if you count my LG G7. I only use it for music listening, but I use it almost daily. Running on AOSP too.

Nonnimus Technogeek, 29 Oct 2023The S23 might not be as small as S10e was, but it's di... moreS10e - 142.2 x 69.9 x 7.9 mm 5.8 inch screen
S23 - 146.3 x 70.9 x 7.6 mm - 6.1 inch screen
Not so big of a difference in phone size. That extra 4.1mm on tallness and 1mm wideness give you 0.3 inch more screen.
People need to start look of the phone dimensions for it's size and not look for the screen size for how big or how small the phone is. It makes no sense to judge phone size with it's screen size when there are still bezels and also the phone frame that all adds more size for the phone. A lot of people look Zenfone with something 5.9 inch screen and praise it like a compact phone while think that S22/23 is larger cause it has 0.2 inch larger screen while looking body dimension the size is same. While in thickness Zenfone 10 is 2mm fatter then S23 so it's not more compact cause it's screen is smaller

Asking the wrong questions as usual. The question should be how old is your oldest phone that you still use. For me that's my Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. This phone was released in 2018 and can still easily get the job done with a custom ROM. I have no doubts that the Pixel 8 will still be serviceable in 7 years, but it will definitely not be my primary phone just as the Mi 8 SE isn't. I'm buying 2-3 phones a year on average for the past 6 years. But lately it's been almost all Pixel A phones.

For me it was the exact contrary - by far the biggest, bulkiest and most importantly widest phone I have ever held. Even the S23 Ultra, the giant that it is, I found to be smaller and more hand-friendly.

Happy S10+ user, and honestly barely see a need to upgrade. Base S23 looks Juicy, but for that price and honestly apart from better gaming and camera performance i see no reason to upgrade. (Both i care little to no about (Also this guy, albeit on minimal graphics can run even ToF or if i want better gaming, then GFN max graphics works like wonder) Also not to mention i do not want to lose my Headphone Jack.

I'm using Nokia 8 since November, 2017. It's almost 6 years old and working just fine for daily needs. I have been using it with care so this metal phone still looks pretty new and beautiful on hand. I hope to upgrade next year and keep this phone as secondary. Though someone may find it weird but I would prefer a flagship grade SOC with Good quality LCD display any day. I've seen many people using expensive branded phone this includes Samsung, iphone, Xiaomi and others. Those phone have Oled/amoled display and they have this red/green/pink line issue and happens within a year of use. Moreover, this display panel costs half of the phone's price. Very ridiculous. I have used 3 phones for 2,3,6 years and they were all lcd display and never had faced such issue like green line/dot/burn issue. I want reliable phone and this days it's really confusing and I feel insecure about this big brands. I can live with some bugs and other minor issues but display issues is a big headache for me and not willing to throwaway money for big brand's clumsiness.

My primary phone: a 4yr old Samsung Galaxy S10+ 5G. I just replaced the battery recently, and this brick should've lasted another 3 years lol.
Secondary phone: a 5 month old Honor X9. Bought this in a hurry because my Redmi 9T suddenly died on me.
3rd phone: a 33 month old Redmi 9T with it's famous "deadboot" issue. After 2 years of ownership, my Redmi 9T finally caught it. I've sent it to my local 3rd party repair shop and boom, no more deadboot. Yay!
4th phone: a 9yr old Lenovo K920 Vibe Z2 Pro. This one is on it's way to 4th battery replacement now lol. This one doesn't really do anything beside idling on the table and occasionally being used as media player. The SD801 are still quite capable to play and stream 2K videos, but 4K and above? Nope.
