It's not only the scrolling animation but the complete fluidity of HRR motions such as video playback or gameplay. All the bs you wrote just shows your slow processing of the neurons you have.
And also the highest number of sales represents the quality of users of the particular brand. Perhaps have you bought each year's models? 13, 14 and 15? Ba ba big cargo ship 🤦🏻

You speak for yourself only. I have a 15 Pro Max, I have turned pro motion off. Same as on my previous 14 Pro and 13 pro before that.
Not going to say I can’t see a difference, it’s there sure. Is it life altering for me though? No, far from it. And I’d rather have the minuscule boost to battery life over the equally minimal improvement to scrolling. Guess I’m lucky I’m just not a pedantic over this sort of thing as you are 🤷
But again, you speak for yourself only dude, stop telling me what my experiences are with my own gadgets!
And how does any of that babbling you just said counter the fact that the highest selling phone in the word doesn’t even have a HRR display 🤷

You can definitely perceive an increase in smoothness between 60 and 120, but how can anyone say it's "stuttering"?
20 or 30 FPS? I agree, it feels stuttery, but 60? And for swiping around tabs and icons on the screen?

The reason they kept the standard iphones at 60hz is a steeping stone to buy the Pro models. Once they do 120hz across all models the sales of the pro will drop as the standard iphones are cheaper. When you think about it 60hz is the one thing holding back the regular iphones.

potato4k, 28 Feb 2024Show me $400 phones using LTPO panels at the volume and qua... moreyou can't say that, Apple only makes 3-4 phones per year if 1 phone is sold for 10 million that is a lot like you said.. while chinese doesn't have just 1 brand, there is it BBK, Transsion, Xiaomi, Huawei etc which includes more subs brands.
LTPO is still used in expensive phones and wait until it will be used in the mid range. BOE doesn't just make screens for Apple, so this is a big job for them.

Look at OnePlus Open panels breaking in less than a few months. BOE got to where it is now because they stole and reverse engineered Samsung tech. But that only get them so far. Quality and volume are another story.
