... moreYou know Qualcomm is scamming, when the middle-of-the-road SD680 is weaker than the SD835 from 2017. Aren't expensive technology supposed to be more affordable for customers over time? This is the exact opposite of it.
Just take a 2015 chipset, change the architecture, slap a different name and call it a day. I'm voting against Qualcomm at this point by not purchasing a new phone, unless I need to.

There isn't any sort of consistency, there can be compromises compared to the older versions, and the poor brands fall in trouble while trying to select processors for their phones.
That ultimately lead to the Xperia 10 series getting screwed up, the Nokia X series lacking 4K recording compared to their spiritual predecessors, as well as Chinese brands like Vivo, Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo and Samsung/Wingtech polluting this entire database with rebrands.

And this is the same Qualcomm that people were praising a few weeks ago for getting into the PC market with the ARM chip LOL!
Color me surprised, but I would take an AMD chip or a hot intel one over an ARM PC made by these Qualcomm vampires.
This rehash is as if Intel suddenly decided next i5 should go back to their awful HD graphics instead of using Xe engine. Or as if AMD decided Vega was good to go on their next Ryzen 5 CPU instead of RDNA2.
Or for those Apple folks, as if Apple decided to grab the M1, and call it an M4SE.

I found it funny because for the first time ever GSMArena commenters defend processors that made by Samsung instead of TSMC, even though 6 Gen 1 is still less efficient than the 695.

Imagine 7 Gen 2 & you have 7s Gen 2 as Overclocked (OC) of 6 Gen 1. Similarly, Like I said earlier, 4K recording, 5 Ram Support, Adreno 650 GPU & 4nm would have made this 's' naming justifiable.

Heartbreak Snapdragon. At least you could have used Adreno 650 & give 4K video recording support with 4nm. Just these three things would have made the 6s usable & on par with 6 Gen 1 & 7 Gen 1. 6 Gen 1 Supports 5X Ram so 6s was expected to have 5 Ram support but :(

It's literally rebranded 685 with 5G, the only upgrade is the 5g modem and an ever so slightly better performance up from cortex-A75 to cortex-A78 main cores, which is not even noticeable being users for this category doesn't care much about high performance, more onto daily scrolling through social media
