What I told is based on the price available here and no I dont live in china of course so its not china prices, the iQoo Z9X for 180$, the iQoo Z9 for 245$ and the Vivo V30 with 310$ while the Vivo V30e is about the same price as the iQoo Z9, there is no way a Galaxy S23 FE is as same or even cheaper than the V30 since the Galaxy A55 occupied the 400$ price range
    If you found the phones sold for much higher price in your country then that means your government scamming you, I know an acquaintance who lived in Netherlands and she told me that chinese stuffs are sold for like 10x the price so she always shipped it directly from china

      Well If 6s Gen 3 had 4K Video Recording + TSMC 4nm + Adreno 650 GPU with current features, I would have said that it's worth it but sadly Qualcomm following Mediatek strategy for budget. Where are the days when 730G, 712, 845, 855 used to rock Qualcomm.

        You refer to the 4 Gen 2 alone to try to prove your point, and fine since it appears to be the only one with similar core config and clocks...

        - The curve vs D920 is quite close but you forget the D920 has clocks of 2.5 vs 2.2 GHz.
        - 695 has better efficiency at the same clocks, like 20 or 30% more...
        - 4G1 also sips considerably less power, clocked 200 mhz lower.

        Your claims of Samsung 4nm being better or at the same level of TSMC 6nm are just not true. At least not the 4nm process of the 4 Gen 2. And I'm watching the same tables you do on Socpk.

            Also sd 4 G1 and G2 use different Gpu you can't use different gpu to measure foundry, you need to use things which are same and at these soc it's their Cpu, Sd 695, Dimensity 920, snapdragon 4 gen 1 and snapdragon 4 gen 2 all of them use 2xA78 and 6xA55 it's good comparison to measure foundry which Geekerwan data shows these soc has same efficiency for the Exception of sd 695 with slightly lead.

            And I never ever said that Samsung foundry is Comparable to Tsmc, I know for sure at same nm Tsmc is better, but here we are comparing Samsung 4nm with old Tsmc 6nm and various proffesional and reliable people show they are comparable and Samsung has lead with newer 4nm variant like 4lpp/4lpp+ vs Tsmc 6nm.

            Another evidence is wikichip website go there and see how Samsung 4nm/5nm HD library has same node density as Tsmc 6nm/7nm.

Their foundries are not in the same level as TSMC no matter how hard you try to put it. Is not 2016 anymore.

The 7s Gen 2 isn't yet on Geekerwans site but the curve is worse than the 778G, and 7s has the same core configuration with slightly weaker GPU. Of course a 4 Gen 2 will be similar to 4 Gen 1, but G2 even has a far weaker GPU... Another fact you gladly omit.

                      You don't measure soc power by look at how much device consume there are variables like display quality, size, Oem throttling etc which can affect that.

                      Look at 4 gen 2 vs D900, 920, 4 gen 1, sd 695 etc both are dual core A78 made by Tsmc 6nm and old Samsung 4lpe/5lpe not sure which one.

                      Like 4 gen 2 and D920 have exactly same curve, sd 695 is slightly more efficient, almost same between 4 gen 1 and 2. That show no difference between old Samsung 4nm vs Tsmc 6nm.

The V30 I already told you it is expensive globally and have you actually seen how much the Edge 50 Pro is? Again I do hope it improves because I like the chipset but currently is still far of what 778G quickly became in pricing and availability.

                        The 7s Gen 2 while being only in a handful devices it is cheaper and available everywhere thanks to Xiaomi. The sad stuff is that it is worse than the 778G.

                              In Gsmarena database there are 50 devices with sd 778G, sd 7 gen 3 already has 12 devices, so it's on road to be adopted as 778G.

                              Phone like Nord 4 CE 5G, Vivo V30, Moto Edge 50 pro etc have that soc under $400, that Nord is under $300.

Global pricing and availability.
                                  The Vivo V30 is more expensive in my country than an S23 FE lol. Official retailer price. Even the regular S23 with 8 Gen 2 can be found for cheap with a bit of digging.

                                    Even the enhanced version could be great enough.

It also had to be mainstream and affordable for... moreI think you got scammed by the vendor, 7G3 device is generally at a midrange price and not that high, the Vivo V30 is amongst the first to adopt the chipset and its only 310$, and then there are the cheaper alternatives the iQoo Z9 only 245$, you can already buy the Zenphone 10 the cheapest 8G2 device with 450$ and still get a change of 70$
