8 Elite 2 looks promising but there were rumours about Qualcomm moving to Deca Cores in 2025-2026. Is it happening or not ??

Gonna wait and see. Sometimes SoC like these are tested with literal watercooler first to see how it performs, then once the max performance is known, they start pulling power down and make it more suitable for a mobile device. I doubt we're going to see 48% improvements, but even 30% will be impressive without a node jump.

Is there any chance that the new systems on a chip this fall will support 32GB of RAM and accordingly lead to a price reduction for the 16GB variants? Today's models with that much memory completely satisfy me in terms of features, but the price is still higher than I would like to pay. Of course, I mean phones with real 16GB of RAM, not with 8GB RAM+8GB SWAP on the flash, which are advertised in the short description as models with 16GB of RAM.

*10 vs 40 seconds, let me correct that. Proof? Gimme your proof first.
> I'll tell you a secret: ~99.9% of smartphone users have never transferred a single file via the USB/Lightning ports.
I'll tell you the truth - minority of people uses AirDrop, WhatsApp, or anything wireless to transfer their files from their phone to their laptop. Proof? Same things, gimme your proof first.
That's what happened when you just pull some random numbers to spread misinformation in the internet. Or... maybe you're just jealous because everybody have moved on to SSD and you're still stuck using that slow HDD on your laptop?

Nvme is faster, but if you still need to decompress a lot of things then the CPU and GPU become the bottleneck, not the storage. That's something that YT channels like LTT had proven a few years back.
In common day tasks it'll be hard to see any difference between a decent SATA III SSD and a Pcie gen 4 SSD, and that's because even the formers have good enough random reads, which was the biggest drawback with HDDs.

for those who want to know: using maths (2.69+ 41%=3.79) it looks like somewhere between 3.7 to 3.9 million AnTuTu score but it's really based on which device you're using

Nice, seems like Apple will have a REALLY hard time catching up to this. Maybe that will be the start of their downfall.
