Not really. My s24 plus is still great. Will wait for s27 plus next. If they kill the plus models will go for s27 ultra.

ProMaxUltraAreBricks, 10 hours agoDust? Know issue, not only for Samsung phones, my old Pixel... moreYeah, Samsung does not have a large island for cameras like Vivo, but it is also far from the quality of Vivo's photos.
Premium? You can't look premium with soda glued caps. You did well that you hid this misunderstanding in the design with a skin. It is also not a premium to remove the bluetooth features of the pen and turn it into the most ordinary toothpick, but for 1300 euros it is an innovation like Edge... 🤣

kdss, 11 hours agoGlued cheap rings on a 1300 euro phone. To protect, that... moreDust? Know issue, not only for Samsung phones, my old Pixel 8 collected it too around the camera bar, even with a case. But, my S25 with a skin on it, happened to completely fix this.
At least Samsung isn't desperate enough to slap a giant, thick "black washing machine" camera bump with fake lenses drawn onto it on their flagships, just to pretend they have more cameras than they do. Like the last Vivo "Ultra" half-baked cheap looking flagship.
Some "designs" are just more sad attempts to look premium. Let's move on, now.

Note7 owner, 11 hours agoThis isn't a flagship phone in 2025. It's barely a phone, let alone a flagship one.

I am not buying the Edge because I don't consider it as flagship.
Flagship phone is not allowed to have such a terrible battery and slow charging speed

ProMaxUltraAreBricks, 11 hours agoThose "soda caps", you mean round, like a sensor ... moreGlued cheap rings on a 1300 euro phone. To protect, that's clear. With a gap to collect dirt. This probably raises the price of an already overpriced phone. 🤣🤣🤣 Samsung design thinking of the highest class.
I have nothing to dream about. There are enough complaints about this in the topics here, even from die-hard Samsung fans like you. Of course, you won't "see" them, but I didn't expect anything else. My work S24+ stutters a lot on notifications. Thank God, I rarely use it anymore.

Nope. Same price as s25u 512gb with double up pre-order price. But more fragile and smaller battery. Same size but thinner and smaller screen overall. With that battery, the phone could easily have been 6.1" in size!

kdss, 12 hours agoWell, Chinese phones cannot compare in quality to the uniqu... moreThose "soda caps", you mean round, like a sensor lens? Crazy stuff, right? You want them square, or what?
They even provide a bit of protection for each small camera glass on the back.
And, they still haven't "fallen off" my S25, and frankly, they look a hell of a lot better than some enormous, impractical, thick camera bump.
Especially if that huge bump, like on the X200 "Ultra", and on most other X200 models and some others, sports cheap, fake lens drawings on its gigantic camera bump to make it look like it has 4 sensors when it only has 3.
Seriously, is that a design feature borrowed from a sub-€100 toy phone?
I have no issues with opening notifications on One UI 7, keep dreaming.

I don't think this is practical phone for anyone tbh. Maybe if they sell it for $300 someone might be interested

Do I want one? Yes. Will I actually buy one? Nah.
It just doesn't do justice for your money. Sounds like a phone that you'd only buy used or refurbished.

ProMaxUltraAreBricks, 12 hours agoUSB 2.0, more fake lens, more 2MP decorative/macro/blur cam... moreWell, Chinese phones cannot compare in quality to the unique 5 soda caps glued with superglue as camera rings on the Korean S25 Ultra. 😁🤣🤣
Not to mention the quality of OneUI7, which they polished for half a year and still your phone stutters when you try to open your notifications. 🤣

ProMaxUltraAreBricks, 12 hours agoUSB 2.0, more fake lens, more 2MP decorative/macro/blur cam... moreFriend said 2mp macro gives even low cost samsungs what do you want to say.
And prove me the A16 would survive 7 years of updates with its laughable ram and specs you funny.
By the way since when software support is that important if you have only one year of warranty outside of EU and inside EU 2 years of warranty.
Even a flagship grade like S25 Ultra can brick or breaks after 2 years of use you know accidents happens.
Will you pay half the price for example 700 euros for repair your so called still supported device or will you pay twice as much for new S27 ultra with new 2 years of warranty and not exhausted internals and battery past 2 years because of new device unlike said broken S25 Ultra.
To me warranty was always more improtant than years of updates.
By the way you can have even a 100 years of updates support but some apps will not work in future on outdated CPUs and GPUs. Mostly games.
So your statement is not valid not even a tiny bit.

Aadrian, 21 hours agoNo I am happy using my S24 Ultra. Same here.
First time I'm going to skip a generation. The way things are going, if Samsung keeps this up or gets even worse, I might skip a few generations.
Just ordered a new case instead.

Cpt.Power, 14 hours agoSaid chinese m idrange endless junk have far more specs for... moreUSB 2.0, more fake lens, more 2MP decorative/macro/blur camera, or even an 8MP UW are not "far more specs".
And, of course, it is cheaper to not release half their phones outside of China and to provide bad short software support that is not as long as Samsung.

The ones who would use this phone won't be using it either, they will only be charging it constantly and all the time until the battery gives up, or they give up on the phone, whichever comes first.

3900mAh to power a Snapdragon 8 Elite with only 25W WIRED charging? For how much money?? Only to put a case on it anyway??? LMAO! Why would anyone in their mind buy this????

the ones who'd use this phone are either Samsung fanboys or people who dont really care too much about their tech. Thus, the potential customers of this phone are not going to be found on sites like this I believe so this poll would be pointless.
Even if we were to say that someone would've wanted a phone like this, the pricing just kills any effective demand they would've had. This is neither small nor an exceptional value for money, in the middle of nowhere with a weird gimmick that not many, if any, asked for.
