[deleted post]You asked "i want to get the i-phone, does it have Stereo Speakers like my old Nokia N95 8GB?" No it doesn't, but you can actually enjoy better audio quality using the iphone's earphones.

You asked "is the video recording quality as good for the video and sound as my N95 8GB?" Based on professional reviews, the iphone's video capabilities are quite impressive and provides decent quality videos.

You asked "can i have IMAP Email on it as well?" Don't know what IMAP is, but I never seem to have any problems receiving and sending emails from my iphone.

You asked "how is the audio for MP3`s with decent headphones? " I've only used the iphone's earphones, and the sound quality is really good.

You should not worry about the iphone's 3mp camera. It takes good pictures. Even its 2mp camera from 3G already took decent pictures. As for flash, I don't think the N95 has flash either =)

It seems that what you really need is a camera phone, and that is the problem. You want the iphone, BUT, it is not the phone you need. The iphone is centered more for music, 3rd party apps & web browsing, not photography. If you do not own a digital camera, and use your phone a lot as your primary camera, I suggest you look into Samsung and LG phones. They are known to have great camera features that produces digital camera-like results.

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2009""much, much, more better" you say? Ok then name me 1 phone... more50,000 apps is better than nothing =) So you think 1000 apps to choose from OVI is better than 50,000? Just because the app store has over 50,000 apps, does that mean you have to install all of them. It's to cater to the different needs and wants of iphone users. Does it matter where Apple got the scratch resistant screen of the iphone? Maybe other phonemakers should do the same. Pre's multi-touch responds like the iphone's, I don't know about LG's S class. Yes, most other phones have music players and can access the web, but does it have the quality of the iphone's ipod and the speed and ease of the iphone's web browser? NO. As for the iphone's camera, it was never its strength, although its camera does provide decent results than I really can't complain about. Not any phone can have everything.

It does not have led for video recording. But does every phone out there have led? Iphone 3G and 3GS can install apps that support turn by turn navigation. So there.

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2009omnia HD has pretty all things besides multi touch and itun... moreOmnia HD does not have OS X, it does not have voice commands, no visual voicemail. Regardless, Omnia HD's OS in inferior to the iphone, and a phone's OS is the heart and brain of a smartphone. As for the screen, what's the use of your Omia HD's AMOLED screen if you can barely use it under direct sunlight? =)

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2009You could see this as an input before really buying that ip... moreYou asked "Why you should buy this device? or why you shouldn't? Is this phone really great or just another over-hyped by apple?". You should buy this device if you want a smartphone with a great web browser, UI, Email, wonderful apps, and music player. It is not an over-hyped phone.

You asked "Why this phone were not success in some country? Are you should consider that reason when buying this phone? Or that's a some specific problem at specific country?". It's not a success in other countries that cannot afford data plans, legal music and videos, and apps. And those countries that do not support the technology that this iphone requires.

You asked "What other comparable product offered by competitor for the same money. Is it worth to buy this over-hyped phone by apple? or you should just buy the competitor product?" The only competitor for the iphone would be the Palm Pre and Blackberry. Those are the only other phones I know sporting their OWN OS. Although I think that the OS X is more powerful than those two.

You asked "Have you tried other brand before planing to buy the iphone 3G-TypeR or it's just come out the blue? Should you try other product first? Will you be sorry to find out that your Type-R phone is just looks great but loosing when finishing the chores compared to other product?" The iphone has only been around for 3 years. We were using Nokia, LG, Samsung, HTC, etc before the iphone came out. So the answer is an obvious YES.

If you are going to troll at least get your facts straight.

[deleted post]i want to get the i-phone, does it have Stereo Speakers like my old Nokia N95 8GB?

                      No

is the video recording quality as good for the video and sound as my N95 8GB?

Yes, improved with touch to focus on any area of the scene.

can i have IMAP Email on it as well?

Yes, of course, Exchange support as well.

how is the audio for MP3`s with decent headphones?

The iPhone set the benchmark for sound quality all other phones are measured against, it's taken two years for other manufacturers to get anywhere close, this phone hasn't been tested by GSM arena yet so don't know if it has been improved.

Also go into any electronics store and you'll see hundreds of things with iPod docks, the iPhone will work with most of them.

my only worry is why did Apple put a crappy 3 megapixel camera in it? whats with technology thats from 2006?? and still no flash!

It's a smartphone it has 3 megapixels like the E71, Blackberry Storm, Palm Pre, HTC magic among others.

Basically the positives outweigh the negatives, of course you'll also be getting two to four times the memory storage of your current phone.

"I can download any .jad/.jar application (java app). Simply browsw using a web browser included in the phone. And i can download any java app out there."

How many Java apps are 150MB + like some of the iPhone games?

Most are very small and basic files with no advanced 3D graphics effects.

How many Java Apps are made for different screen resolutions and keyboard layouts?

If you install the wrong one you can end up with a tiny game up in the corner of the screen with most of the screen taken up by a white border.

There is no comparison between Java applications and iPhone Apps, Java simply does not have the power of Objective C.

[deleted post]You could just as easily say the same things about Nokia products, take a look at phones like the N96 and N97, thousands of comments of conjecture and misinformation in the long months between announcement and release of these fairly mediocre offerings.

Still people buy them with no thought for any other brand and defend their lacklustre performance despite the existance of better, higher specced phones.

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2009That's the beauty of having a keyboard/thumboard with your ... moreAgain, between a hard and a soft keyboard, it would be faster to type on a hard keyboard, BUT, to say that one is struggling to type on the iphone's keyboard is quite questionable. Typing on the iphone's keyboard is still better and faster than the ones that only comes w/ numeric pads. So it is not as bad as you would like it to seem.

You asked me to try a smartphone with a hard qwerty keyboard. I already have. I had the Treo, and that was before I switched to the N95. So there. And guess what, before we became iphone users, we were Nokia, Samsung, LG, SE, etc users as well. The iphone is not our first phone.

Hmmm, I wonder how you can type chinese characters from a hard qwerty keyboard with english alphabet on it like you were saying. Is there any demo that you can show us on your claim?

As for multitasking, I don't care for it, and the majority shouldn't either. For the reason that it drains power and compromises performance. If Apple decides to implement that across the apps, then fine, it doesn't mean I'm going to use it because I really do not need it on a phone. Apple included MMS, and other features on the 3.0 update, but guess, what? I only care for the landscape keyboard, copy/paste and SMS forwarding, I could care less for the rest.

The iphone's fluid UI is not just mere cosmetic. It's part of EVERY function on the iphone. You do not see the fluidity of the UI, you only experience it, so it is not cosmetic.

As for comparing the iphone to a car. I prefer a base model BMW with little features, than a fully loaded Kia with navigation system and more.

I doubt no manufacture that stupid out a perfect phone, because this will make them nothing for release in future.

I know iPhone is great but they are lacking some really basic function.

I have an iPhone 3G and a Nokia 6280 (dumb phone like yours running s40) and let me tell you, that pitiful 6280 doesn't not stand a chance. The iPhone may not have all the features like bluetooth sending and stuff BUT! The iPhone's UI is simply way better than the Nokia, hence you don't really car for the missing features anymore. Heck, my Sony Ericsson w980 was better than that Nokia.

Yes I know you were just trying to say the iPhone is missing alot of features found in way cheaper devices. I just wanted to say that even though it's lacking these features, it's functionality makes up big time for these.
