DeepSpace, 21 Jun 2009"In this price thers alot... of mobiles, that are much, m... moreHi deepspace.

talking about itunes store, i think that the weak part of iphone. Iphone user were not aware that nokia on s30, s40 and s60 can install any program from web. What you need to do is to host the .jar/.jad for s30/s40/s60 or the .sis/.sisx for s60 on the web pages and use the web browser from nokia phone to the program address. It will then ask you if you wanna download and install the app.

unlike iphone, nokia don't need some computer to install the app.

and nokia also don't need some computer to transfer video/sound/music/etc.

just the other day i want to transfer some 3gp video of my kid to my sister, and i was surprised that the iphone blutooth is not capable for such simple job. I could easily transfer via bluetooth to other nokia phone.

DeepSpace, 21 Jun 2009"In this price thers alot... of mobiles, that are much, m... more""much, much, more better" you say? Ok then name me 1 phone (just ONE) that can connect to itune store that have 50000 apps, plus all those apps in Cydia & Installer, and that have scratch resistant thouch screen, and multi-touch UI, that is a music player, that can browse the web, do email, did mention video/movie? and camera... well that's easy for you right? but touch focus? humm...."

ok 1st let's start with iTunes, you say 50,000 apps, do you honestly gonna install 50,000 apps ?, talking about scratch resistant, do you know that apple doesn't make the screens ? yes other phones have scratch touch resistant. palm pre web OS and LG class has multi-touch, all phones have music player, all phones can browse the web and play flash unlike the iphone, all phones can do email about time LOL, all phones can play videos/movies and more formats than the iphone, touch focus ? oh haha take a look at the LG viewty 2, iphone doesn't even have image stabilizer. please go get informed, you're really deluded by the apple cult are not you ? the only defense you use is the apps, other OS have thousands of apps.

Nikos, 21 Jun 2009You mention Unlocked, this means that i can change the SIM ... moreYes, the unlock version of iPhone can use any sim-card. My wife's 3G version is an unlock version and it is very expansive. Mine is a 2G version and I jailbreak(hacked) it with Pwnage tools and now also can use any sim-card. FYI - current version 3.0 can't be jailbreak yet. And if you intent to go travelling soon then you have to buy the unlock version. :-(

For those who have battery problem, this is what i used for my iPhone:
                      http://richardsolo.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=264

I 1st learnt about portable charger when my brother brought i back from china for his SE P-900 (Yes same one sold to me!) P-900 is real power hunger. It look similar (but not the same) to this:
                      http://www.handhelditems.com/mybat-3200mah-backup-battery-iphone-ipod-black-p-4790.html

iphone being unable to change its battery pack is somewhat worrisome to me. My iphone 2G is now 1.5 yrs old. although it still charge normally and haven't show any sign of power lost, it just make you fell that it is getting there.
However, from experience of past phones i owned, I noticed the after replacing the battery, all call records were lost on my P-900 and 5610. Same with my friend's N95. But some N95 do maintain its records after replacing the battery, I can't explain why. By using the portable charger, no lost record problem. And it is not that big, easily carried around in pocket.

Touch screen just bring it easier to write these word for those who's not really good at these language

for the expert of the language, it would be the same using a QWERTY keyboard and touch screen.

I have a metting with some china company last month, and I can tell you that out of 40 person I met in the metting, only 1 using blackbery, 3 using WinMo with touch screen, and the other 30 using nokia E70. I know that nokia E70 prety well by seeing the red button on top of the phone.

                            None using iphone....
if iphone really make people easy to input chinese character, then iphone really doing bad in china.

You were wrong about the salary things.
The lower class sure have a low salary.

but for the middle class to the ubber rich class, iphone price is not expensive. Do you know that 40% of nokia comunicator were sold in Indonesia. That's the most expensive nokia. The first Nokia E90 were auction for US$9000, bought by some Indonesian Tycoon. The first 10 E75 were also sold in Indonesia.

The problem is not in the price of handset. The problem is in the montly fee. With no subscription at all (pre-paid) I got a FREE 1000 SMS and 1000 MMS, and my monthly usage (phone bill) is between US$ 25 - US$50 (by using 3 different provider). If I only solely using 1 provider it would be at US$ 400 - US$ 500. So, the market trend in Indonesia doesn't work well with iPhone.

I can understand why Indonesia iphone is not popular. With the type of salary that they are getting, they simply can't afford it. I still use swirlyMMS on my own iphone 2G, but seldom coz here in Malaysia the charges for MMS is not included in the plan for all carriers. Meaning to say you pay for the unlimited data plan for internet access but every MMS is extra charges.
