I would gladly bow to you and said none. But instead you chose to put "much, much more" stuff that's of-cos I ask which phone has that "much, much more"? It is fair to say that? as for now, answer to your questions, No iphone yet have multi-tasking capabilities and no LED/Flash video/photography too. As for video recording, I do believe the current 3.0 update does have it, and the gps turn by turn thing is only available for the 3GS model.

Ok then name me 1 phone (just ONE) that can connect to itune store that have 50000 apps, plus all those apps in Cydia & Installer, and that have scratch resistant thouch screen, and multi-touch UI, that is a music player, that can browse the web, do email, did mention video/movie? and camera... well that's easy for you right? but touch focus? humm....

Why is everyone saying that it's a good thing that Iphone is locked to Itunes? For me, it's a con. I don't want to donate $$$ to Steve Job's new life!!!
People should have a choise what they want to do with their money, not depending on how much music they download. Luckily Iphone is the only locked phone this way, as FREE music is rather simple to DL to other MUSIC phones.

while it seems apple has done the same, just increaing GB and a better cam but you have to note that the N95 series is really old now and
with such a fast paced industry having 8GB and 16GB back than was a huge deal along with 5mp, but nowadays its nothing
this is why the N97 is confused as its specs are "OLD" for a company "Flagship"
the iphone however is not bound to any rule, they fit in into all the areas.. Businees, Kids, Teenagers.. etc the only prob is that in each area it lacks basics..
cause who would buy their kid a 600 dollar phone to play games on.. on top of that you have that exact phone to email and show off in office..
while every kid on the train has it..
both the N97 and iphone are confused devices.. N97 is tray be all "touch" and "Business" and "Facebook" which is what the iphone has been doing for 2 years
in the end it all depends on the user."
Actually, Nokia improved the N97 a lot hardware wise in different ways. It was the FIRST phone worldwide to have a 32GB internal memory, as well as the new FM Transmitter and Magnetometer. It was also the first phone with touch-screen in the Nseries.
Those who saw N95 8GB as a huge upgrade should be very satisfied with the N97. And indeed, many N97 owners are happy with the hardware they got. You need to try it before you can judge.

I also having some fun typing on real QWERTY keyboard of my phone.
The fact is iphone fan were so blinded by the fact that software keyboard is not as great as the hardware keyboard.
I do admit that was fun to use the iphone soft keyboard. but, it just fun, not really usefull.

The only problem would be if your phone was LOCKED to a certain provider. Using another SIM would require you to unlock it, jailbreaking it in the process. Syncing your Iphone with Itunes after jailbreaking/unlocking will undo the unlock. IF you must unlock, put all your apps and music and stuff on ur iphone, AND THEN jailbreak and unlock it. Unlocked Iphone would still be better though.
