Huawei Mate 10 Pro to land in the UK on November 17 for £699

Vlad, 31 October 2017

Huawei's Mate 10 lineup is rather confusing for more reasons than one. If you live in the UK, however, rest assured that you won't have to scratch your head trying to decide between the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. That's because only the latter model will be officially available in the UK.

The Mate 10 Pro is now said to arrive on November 17 for a price of £699, in SIM-free and unlocked form. At the current exchange rates, that equates to exactly €799, which is its recommended retail price for the Eurozone, so the Chinese company isn't trying to play any games here at least.

Three and Carphone Warehouse will both stock the Mate 10 Pro, and we expect to see the phablet offered by other companies as well - nothing has been officially announced yet, however. That pricing makes the Mate 10 Pro cheaper than both the Samsung Galaxy Note8 and the LG V30 in the UK, if we go by their recommended prices.

Mate 10 uses a BOE screen, not Samsung. BOE one of the biggest Chinese panel makers and up there with Samsung in terms of quality.

Talking like drunk. Chipset is more powerful, battery last 2 days, camera, judging by first samples are barely better than Mate 9, yeah everything looks in Samsung S8 favor
