in Indonesia; i've tried to update my phone sw. the result is there is no latest update for 5800. my s/w version already :10.0.010.

Salman, 20 Jan 2009Hello all i just bought 5800 yesterday...so far it has been... moreok then here it goes,u need to install nokia software updater,then turn it on and put ur phone connected via data cable,and then the rest instructions would be given there in that software.its really easy.but one thing,u cannot use ur set during the proceeure,and the net connection must be smooth and fast and u cannot use ur phone as the modem!

5800 has good features, but itseems the quality of ... morewell there is no other phone on symbian s60 9.4 rel 5
but if u opt for winmo then htc touch diamond,omnia they are good choices,or f u have blackberry in your country then bb storm!

i use 5800 since 8 Des '08; i love the sound & touch. but now i'm facing the problem with playlist. i can't delete or add new playlist. when i do that...always come pop-up msg " file is corrupted" why...???? there are no clue to solve the problem from book or even from the nokia website. Then....5800 can not open any office document. this is out off from the specifications. the last....i can not connect to the WLAN with static mode. even i set my phone setting to meet the requirement. the message is always " no gateway reply"
could somebody give some solutions for that ..???

i got this phone one week a go. so far so good. i like it pretty much lah. but it is lack of games, theme and software. any body got any suggession where can get it ?

as much as i like nokia 5800 (still using N73), i sold it off after 2 weeks. no doubt it is a good phone, but the camera is a let down. whether indoor or outdoor, it takes pictures as though it is a 2.0 megapix w/o auto focus. other than the camera, sounds quality is superb which i disgaree with grmarena review
design = 4/10 (u can hear the plastic creek)
UI = 6/10 (still buggy)
sound- loudspeaker = 9/10 - as good as N73
camera = 2/10
overall = 7/10

I have an N73 with the same camera and glass - gets great pics for a 3.2 MP. Why the poor performance (according to GSMARENA)on the 5800?

i want to get this phone but in my country they told me that they are all chinese made, so i'm concerned about the quality. can someone help me? are chinese ones good ?

seems it hurts ur apple so much lol!! just check out the name of this fone Nokia 5800 Xpress Music so basically its a walkman series of Nokia means fone plus music player. who died and made u einstein lol.

I bought this phone a week ago, intially i was facing difficulty in using it .. but now i am very much habituated with its touch screen. Phone audio quality- speaker quality- good, when u have earphones- its simply superb,awsome,excellent- camera quality just like Noka N73.

to the one who comment 5800 as crap. think, youre refering to yourself coz your to dumb to know how to use the phone. get real youre simply stupid. obcourse the sound cant be compared to ipod coz its a mobile phone.
