I have been reading your views for quite a long time.thanks for your input. I'm in singapore.Any idea when it is gng to release in here.If i wanted to buy from overseas how much would it cost me.appreciate your help on this.Eagerly waiting to buy this phone.

exactly how long your 5800XM battery life?? (just making txt and call.. WIFI&internet.. or music?)
one day, i use internet and WIFI all the time, listen to the music in external speaker and the battery drain pretty quick.. is it normal??
it only full for half day..and then just drain and drain..
is it because i'm a diehard user or just the battery that need to be replaced???
need answer ASAP..

1) I was using E51 previously and man that was a neat phone. It had the application locks software wherein i could password protect individual apps like messages or gallery etc can i do the same in 5800,
2) There was a an application in E51 called conversation wherein my messages are stored as per contacts and not as per date, is it there or can it be installed iin 5800,
3)Can i search thru my apps like can i search for a specific message by typing in a key word?

Anonymous, 27 Dec 2008do we have to pay monthly for gpsHi, with the GPS it will give you options to purchase the navigation and voice. When i first set up the gps on my Nokia 5800 it have me a free 7 day navigation pass and then it installed the voices software onto my mobile so it could talk to me and tell me where and when to turn etc. I think u can buy the navigation for 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, 1 year and 2 years. It will tell you the purchase price in ur currency when u have ur mobile set up. Cheers Craig :-)

The volume of the speakers are very loud and very good sound quality. There stereo sound and it's very loud. Also the touch keyboard is quick and very easy to use. Cheers Craig :-)

I find if through the day i'm just txting people and making the odd 5 to 10 minute call here and there that i'm coming home at night and still have heaps of battery life remaining. The touch responsive is quiet good, it does work really gr8 with using the builtin stylus but u can also use your finger which is still quiet responsive and accurate but i use the stylus all the time and it never misses a beat. You need the stylus also for the hand recognition, i love how the stylus is built in :-). Cheers Craig

Yes i have installed one game off the Nokia Hong Kong website and it installed & worked perfectly. I've also installed mail exchange directly through my Nokia 5800 through applications download and installed gr8 also. I don't think your going to regret your purchase mate. how r you dude ? i hope all are fine with your fone.i will be getting mine in another 4 days. If you have tested any apps and games, then lee me know. Have tried to instal anything from Nokia Hongkong site.They do have some apps for touch fone.

Desprado, 28 Dec 2008i installed incompitable theme on my 5800 and it refuse to ... more1. Dont panic atall.
2. Nothing happens , go to your nearest NPD and load the software again.They do it unlimited times without any charge.
3. Visit NOKIA wbsite support centre, and search for the free software download option.
Note : i have searched it and found nothing. cause the new version is getting reddy and may be it will be posted in their site.
4. Always use tested and compatible apps, games in your fone ...that to in memory card. You have already 8 GB. so instal properly and know how to uninstal.
5. Dont load your fone memory with 3 rd party applications.
6. Try to do a hard reset removing the memory card.

What happens if you remove the memory card and try to reboot, maybe it will go back to default.

well i was so happy and waiting the nokia symbain touch but? i was so sad when i got it iny hand ? nokia whats up this is your first finger touch and symbain from you to the world ? why is so cheeeep like that the meterail is so bad i was goin to mash it in my hand really i swear it was going to break like a small wood in my hand ?look at the e71 or the e66 or even the e90 they are so havy and made of great plastic so why for your first touch u did that i dont know really so any way every one here dont buy it please let them go reesin it like something more exeptable like the other phones .

i installed incompitable theme on my 5800 and it refuse to start at all the Q is how i can have hardreset to my 5800 by the virtual keyboard and the mobile is switched off ???!!!!!!!!!!
