Guys I Need your opinion on this phone's battery life span. I just bought this phone for about 5 days, its great n fast browsing no problem at all. But the problem is the battery cant stand longer. In the info show that its able to play music for about 35 hours, but I just play it for about 3 hours, the battery bar show full bars. Sadly after i switch it to standby mode for about 1 hour it became low battery.
When i check the battery its made in Korea.
The phone seller had advice me to buy the battery which is made in Japan. Shall i give it a try to buy the new battery or complain to the phone seller whom i had buy with? And request for the warranty? So far nothing is worry about just the battery life spans a little annoying.

It's upto you to decide. Nokia takes good care of their devices, firmware updates released even after 2 years of production. :D
Samsung doesnt do that. Anyway, its upto you to decide. I'm saying the 5800 is reliable and good for hard use, unlike fragile samsung....

you cant do multitasking in jet? Ows?? But i think jet (divx/xvid)is much better in vidplayback than the 5800... And i heard lots of complain in 5800.

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2010guys i need help.....i am using 5800xm.the phones ram is 1... moreWell it's important to keep @ least 30Mb of phone memory free, reduces lagging and crashings. Upgrading to v50 solves a lot of browsing issues, i have no browsing issues now with v50 :p
when you browse heavy web pages and watch online stuff your RAM gets filled,keep cleaning the cache, thats what i do. :)

the samsung jet is faster, has a better camera and also has good music quality. It has a good screen, but smaller than that of 5800. And it CAN'T MULTITASK :(
The 5800 cam is ok, not good in low light though. Music and video playback is superb!!! Browsing is also good. Can multitask easily . Also a lot of apps are there.

I've been using this for 6 months, dropped it hard twice, still nothing wrong! =))

guys i need help.....i am using 5800xm.the phones ram is 128mb but it always shows 44mb available.and whenever i use the web and the search app together my phone crashes and some red lines appear on the screen and it restarts again....is there a major problem in the phone.pls help.......
