asaf shay,
Not sure how, but I heard you need a FAX machine WITH infrared or Bluetooth... Your phone will work as the FAX line (I mean, you don't have a phone line, so you're using your phone as the line and he FAX machine to scan and send through your phone line). Not sure if it's like that...
Anyway, if you connect your phone to the PC, you can do it do, but you must know how to set up and the document must be soft copy, like word document.
Oh ya, you can refer to the HELP on your phone by the way...

Slavyan,
Try Transcend RS-MMC 512MB, it's working fine. So far, haven't heard any issues from my friend either and a friend of mine who owns a phone shop. Just don't get the wrong one, there's one DUAL VOLTAGE one which is for 6630.
As for movie playing, yes, SmartMovie is so far the best player for Symbian OS. There's one player called DVD Player, haven't try it out yet, heard that it could play MPEG4 videos.

gix,
For MSN Chatting, you have to install an application called "Agile Messenger". There's also another one but I forgot the name...
For email, you can try ProfiMAIL...
For Flash file, sadly, there're no unofficial FLASH Player, only ORIGINAL player from macromedia WHICH is specifically for Symbian OS, and therefore can play normal SWF files, only phones version SWF files... too bad...

Jack,
Sony Ericson S700i? LoL, you can't compared these 2 phones... 6260 is a SMARTPhone, whereas Sony Eriscon is just a NORMAL phone WITH a little extra functionality (such as videos, musics, and some normal applications).
Well, it's a big difference in both. What Sony Ericson have is it's camera, sound quality and LCD screens and/or Graphics... and also the design... But, to me, it's no worth paying so much just for the camera (with that price, I could get a very very good REAL digital camera with REAL camera functions and video recording). I hope you know that phone cameras functions are very limited as compared to a REAL digital camera...
Anyway, everyone has their own taste, some are willing to spend on it, some would seethe value and features, etc... It also depends on how well you earn your money.
Well, lastly, a piece of advise is, try out the phones first, you don't want to regret after you buy, especially those Sony Ericson users who went into Symbian forums or download sites and asking what software or games they can install and found out that their phone is... well... ehm... So,... try it out first and know what other phones can do first before you decide...
There're also cases where people who are uncomfortable with Symbian OS phones / SMART phones, because they don't know how to use it, don't have the patience as it's a bit slower than normal phones, bugs, etc... So, they just have to wait untill the technology gets better and they can accept it...

I agree that 6260 rulesssss, I think it's the best phone, too. You are right: SYMBIAN IN A FLIP, HOW COOL OS THAT !!!
If someone wants camcoder, just post your e-mail and I'll send it to you.
By the way has someone installed FullScreen Caller and it has worked? I've installed atleast 5 versions of it and none of them worked. Please, if anyone of you has FullScreen Caller and he knows that it works with 6260 please send it to me on a_b_v_kanovski@abv.bg . But post that you are sending it to me so that I can know and check my e-mail.
Bye for now.

Hi Rookie =)
you dont need to buy a new MMC reader.
Though if you're planning to buy a new reduced size MMC, it will come with an adapter, then you can use your regular card reader with that. (the adapter is the metal-like part below the RS-MMC on the picture which is detachable)

I'm so so so happy!!!
I've got the phone for three days so far. It's great. All my friends say: "WOW, it's the greatest phone I've ever seen. Let me guess you bought it for atleast 1000$." And they are very surprised when they hear the real prise. I think the camera is great. But one of the greatest things is the operation system: for example, I read that somebody sais that the video quality isn't good. I was a little bit disappointed with it too at first but afterwords I down loaded "Camcoder Pro" and now I changed the video resulution from 128x96 to 176x144 (same as the one ot 6630!!!) and the bit rate from 0 to 128 and it's very good. And a lot more super cool features which if I want to discribe it will take me atleast a day.
But I've got some questions:
I read that it can work with 512mb rs-mmc card but only from some of the brands. Can somebody tell me if he has tried 512mb and it has worksd and what's the brand.
(for the owners) By the way it highly recommend you "Smart Movie". It converts .avi (video) files another .avi file which is with great quality and small enought to fit in you phone. The quality is realy great and clear not with pixels just the same as you watch it on the PC but on a smaller screen. Try it. It worths.

anyways, what the phone came with was a reduced mmc card ... but i only have got a regular mmc card reader. So does that mean i need to purchase a new reader? is it possible to jam the card up a regular card reader and expect it to work?

Well, you can download applications without using cable. First you have to download and install Nokia PC Suite from Nokia.com and then you have to activate Bluetooth connection. In connection with battery, I had the same problem in the beggining, but now after 2 months having this phone, my battery last for 2-3 days, so you just have to be patient and wait for battery to last longer.

Hello Darwin =)
charge the battery fully.
then drain it completely like you cant turn it on anymore. then fully charge the phone again while its turned off. the green light outside will turn off if its fully charge.
do this cycle twice and your battery will be fine.
after this cycle, you can charge your battery anytime you want even if its not completely drained yet.
I had this exact dilemma when I first bought my 6260, but when i did the above steps its all good now.
my battery lasts 2-3 days with normal use Ü (and still has 1-2 bars left after that).
