the vga cam is good enough.. but this phone'll be the greatest if they move the keys down, and enlarge the screen.. maybe make it faster.. the rest is all perfect ~

Yes, you can open applications even in camera mode. I've tried it myself when I read your question.

Andy214, I was just kidding about the games, they were the first thing that came in my mind as an example. My main curiosity was about Photo Acute because since it takes better pictures I'll probably prefer to use it instead of the camera application in 6260.
Anyway, thanks a lot for giving me this information. If I have any further questions I'll ask again.

Everybody which complains about the "Clicking" camera sound when taking pictures...
I don't think there is an option to turn it off,... even for my 6600, if it does, it surely will be removed in later firmware updates...
This is to prevent pervert from snapping *you know what* pictures... I've even read before a rule saying that all camera phones must have flash, but not sure when will it be implemented or they have changed it...

Slavyan,
If I'm not wrong, you can, just press the MENU button... Anyway, the CAMERA mode simply RUNS the CAMERA application, if I'm not wrong...
But,... I'm wondering, what games you want to play in CAMERA mode??? Camera games? Like MOSQUITOS?

I wonna ask a very important question (especialy the owners):
When your phone is in Camera Mode can you do whatever you want or you can just take pictures. I mean can can you use other applications like games or Photo Acute for example.
I beg you to answer me soon because I'm planning to buy this phone and it's very important for me to know this.

PHOTO ACUTE is a program with which you can take pictures with resulution 1.3 megapixels (1280x960) although your camera is VGA (640x480). It also makes the colour quality of the picture much better. If you write your e-mail I can send it to you (if you want of course).

You can not turn Off the "Click" Sound of the Phone using its built in Software.
BUT You can use "Photo Acute" that works perfect with this Phone and it doesn't make any sound while taking Snaps...

Owen.
I think that the card was a Kingston or a TwinMOS, but both only are capable of reading 1,6 MB/sec and the Kingston writes only 0,4MB/sec. So i will try to find a brand with high transfers. I tried in a store. At the moment i only use the 32mb that comes with the phone.
I'll try first to find the Transcend cards.
Thanks again. (and not for the last time, i think)

Bluege,
My friend is using 512MB RS-MMC, it's working fine,... wat brand r u using? You have to becareful, certain brand they have bad read/write capabilities... and some are extremely slow...
The RS-MMC my friend is using is Transcend, (the speed should be equivalent to normal MMC with 45X speed)...
I used to have 256MB Apacer MMC for my 6600 and the speed is awfully slow and have problems with my card reader... Then I change to 512MB RS-MMC Transcend (with the adapter), and even though it's 512MB, the speed is still faster than my previous 256MB Apacer MMC!!! I read somewhere that normal sized Apacer MMC is only 1X speed... tough, there're other speed option available already...
Oh, and another case is, my cousin bought a very cheap and life time warranty 512MB RS-MMC for his N-GAGE QD... got many problems, where the phone will lockup during reading of MMC, etc... so, becareful when purchasing the card, so far, Transcend is very friendly to phones...

The 6260 uses the RS-MMC and not the "normal" and bigger MMC card.

Ey Bluege =)
no problem!
see if you can try another brand of 512MB RS-MMC, though risky. Sometimes phone's are picky. I had an experience with that that I returned the other card for refund and I've tried my friends card and it worked flawlessly.
Yeah, just use 256mb for the meantime.
