Hi , i bought 6500 last week and i m satisfied with it , but i heared there is something wrong with its O.S ( software ). Has anybody had such problem ?

all ican say is the nokia 6500 slide is the best phone i have ever came across. not only its sexy but it has magnificent features the 3.2 mega pixel, fm radio and many more. so if you are looking for a sexy appealing phone, try out he nokia 6500 slide its he bes phone that nokia can offer. power to nokia 6500 slide.

Hope this helps. I was also helped by Mobile Slider and it worked! Give me a shout if you encounter any problems.
Go to this site:
http://www.time zoneconverter.c...-bin/tzc.tzc
Highlight your city, & then choose GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) & hit the "Convert time now" button.
You correct time will then be displayed.
Now..go to your phone's Menu>Settings>Date & Time>Date & Time Settings & scroll down till' you see the Time Zone option.
Either add or subtract the number of hours from the website I provided, & your time
MOBILE SLIDER
I tried following the instructions below but it's changing my clock which was correct. I'm not sure If I explained this correct. My Cellphone time as of now says 13h45 but when I send an sms it registers as if I received it at 11h45. I hope this is clear...
stamp from your SMS messages will be correct.
Also...be sure that the "Auto Update of Time" feature is turned off first.
Then everything should be fine.

I ve found Nokia 6500 a good one, in comparision to nokia N73, but alas! camera quality is not so gud despite of having 3.2 megapixel.
All features are same as Nokia 6300, then why to pay more money for Nokia 6500???
But still this one is cool and stylish.. All we pay would be merely for STYLE.

lots of people I know hav this phone and it is pretty good. Its handy, small, good looking, funky, cheep and many more. But i cant understand why people prefur it to the nokia n81. I meen the n81 is slightly more expensive and a little bit bigger but if you take them out than they have the same features. Plus the n81 has wi-fi and more memory.
