i just wanna to know how i can format my phone memory i will lose all what i have i know but plz help me in this i have this mobile now it is wonderful but it get a virus and didn't know how to treate with it so i must format all my data on it plz help me urgently

See the review pictures for comparison and take note of the pixel count, its now 2601x1951(that's 5MP+)
I have used the pictures taken by gsmarena in their 6500slide review so you wouldn't think i'm using a 5mp camera, also, i have only chosen those pictures that have too much noise. (because you will no longer be able to spot the difference between a real 5MP camera and the 6500slide camera if i were to chose those pictures of 6500 slide that has originally low noise)

Guys, does the keypad of new batches of 6500 slide still gets scratched when you slide it? And are the bugs of already fixed with the new firmware like profiles and ringtones still go back to factory settings? Please let me know coz I'm planning to buy this phone soon. Thanks!

I tried to install the software updater on my PC, but it says that Vista is not supported, even though it says it is on the Nokia website. Can anyone confirm if they have the updater running with Vista?

Well.. I bought this phone before 5 weeks and I can say that it's good , about the problem of the scratches on the keypad I solved it by putting a stick over key 2 and 1 so there is nothing to worry about . for music it's very good . for daylight photos it's unique but in the night it need more

Why this phone have not, like much others, an auto-cut off for battery recharging ?
If the battery is left by a long time in charge by oblivion, it is possible to destroyed she in addition with a possible fire.
Is NOKIA want sell much battery's than phones ?

Why couldn't I install the Nokia Software Updater??
I says failed 256mb need the failure to install even though I have 6 GB free space.. . .
I'm now really confused now,. . .
can somebody please help me ??

here in the Philippines, the last time i checked, 6500 slide is about 15k and the 5610 is 13k i think? 5310 is 10k and 6500 classic is 1300

@Liang...the 6.60 i downloaded does not have chinese. Mayb nokia would be better placed to answer ur query on loading the 6.60 on ur product code, but i think the software updater should be the instrument to tell you the latest update according to your product code

My code is 0557572...and it say the latest software is 4.84
If i use your's code(0549722)it say the latest software is 6.60...if i download that 6.60 one by using your code...can be install to my phone or not and will cause any problem or not
and the 6.60 software got chinese language or not????THANKS YOU

Liang, i would suggest u attempt the upgrade again but make sure the software updater identifies 6.60 as the latest software before it upgrades
