Wake up nokia the slider scratches the keypad badly...just one week only the keypad get scratches like madly..planning to sold off this phone no mood of having it coz protect it very much but still the keypad get scratch..impossible for not scratching the keypad by not using the slide...bad phone

I have the phone, not a single scratch, plus i dont see any way that the slider can scratch the keypad!!

I can't even understand the phone, i personalise the ringing tone and set my picture as the wall paper but it kept changing it automatically, i don't know if i did something wrong, can u please help me out...? how come my 6500's time is not synchronized with the time of the text message? how do i fix this problem for example, the phone's time is 1pm,then someone sent me a text at that time. but when i check the time it was sent, it's 4 hours late.. how come...? my e-mail samjam_81@hotmail.com

i had the 6500 slide and it kept freezing up. also u have to press some buttons twice to make it respond. i also found the phone kept on reverting back to all the default setting e.g nokia ring tone & screen saver etc. does anyone know if the black model has any improvement an if so what? thanks.

Just seen this is coming out in Black on the Orange website but might be just exclusive for Orange hope not as Black to me is the colour this should have been released in the first place but Nokia might offer something better on the Black model like they did with the N95 lets wait an see

This phone looks great at sight, but often freezes, takes time to recognise memory cards, then worst of all, pictures you just took might not just registered on the memory. Finally, it adds empty sensor folder.It is a complete failure. A rubbish. Today i changed my mind on Nokia products, they are not all great afterall!

Guys, If you are having scratched buttons then its because of a a factory flaw & you have a right to return the handset under the consumers goods act.
I've had the phone since monday i honestly i can say there are no scratches on the pad i have taken a very long look at the pad under different types of light & i can only see a small line on my # key but this looks more like a button reflection due to the shape of the button

I got the 6500 slide yesterday and i really really like it evrything about it but the thing is it crashes on me like when i listen to the radio it just goes off and ma calls have been cut off aswell sum of the buttons dnt seem to respond...
Does anybody have the same problem or can anybody help me with this problem???

The slider really scratches the keypad,i just use for a round 3 weeks and i can see some obvious scratches on the keypad which make me really feel regret to own this phone. some of my frens are using the same phone as well and amongst all of them having the same problem,the slider scratches the keypad badly.

The slider definitely scratches the keypad. i own 2 6500 slide with my gf and both of us having the same problem. the slider scratches the keypad. and it is a bit to heavy. the standby time is weak also in respect of the stainless steel case.

Just an N73 resold in a prettier package replaced with S40. Paying $400+ for two year old specs. Same old stuff recycled into stainless steel.

seriously, i am very curious about the slider is scratching the keypads. because i have some friends who is selling handphones. all the second hand 6500 slide have the keypads scratched. in fact from no 1 to # buttons are scratched. some of u who owned 6500 slide said that the slider doesn't scratched the buttons. honestly i have never encounter other handphone brands such as samsung, motorola etc had this problems. i am neutral here. just that i want to make sure that the 6500 slide owner is telling the truth about the slider because i really want this 6500 slide very badly but i can't accept this flaw in the future because i am an electronic gadget collector. so friends please argue more on this issue. thanks. for those who owned 6500 slide and their slide doesn't scratched the buttons, please prove it by sending some close-up photos of the buttons.

try checking if you are using the correct gmt settings.. its different in each country.

I actually went to the shops the other day and tried it.
They opened it up.
And I tested it all out.
Had no problems.
And this shop has like 5 different companies in it, which let me try it.
All you guys said about scratching and hanging up. Worked all fine on those phones, and they were all right out of the box too...
So im waiting to get mine..
Black is released in some parts of Australia.
Sydney - Parramatta shop, they said they have it there.

when will the black model released and i wanna know is the front camera capture pictures or it is for the vedio calls only?and is this mobile good over all or not?
