I have had my E50 for 2 months and like it very much. It is very fast and unlike others who have posted, I have only had the phone freeze up once in the entire time I've owned it. The only drawback is the on/off key which you have to get used to (don't use your nail) and the joystick. I highly recommend considering what other phones are out there at twice the price and how rapidly things are changing.

nice phone...and very good design... i like it..
I want to know if any one is using yahoo mmessenger on it ...and how?
i've hav a N73 and i've had there yahoo go and was working very good..but i the yahoo go version that i have is not working on e 50...
if any one can hepl i will be very glad..

Am planning to buy this phone; a few questions if anyone can answer:
1. How to automate keypad lock?
2. How to browse web in horizontal mode?
3. What is the average battery life time in standby and talking mode?
4. Is putty or some telnet client available for this Symbios OS?

1.3 mp it is inaf, for clas busines, it is great, this phone its made to talk, not to listen music or to take picture all time

I've had the E-50 for over two weeks now and the phone has not failed me even once.
The battery life is truly outstanding, it is one of the very few best battery design ever in a cellphone.
The font size is small and there is no provision on the menu to select for a larger font size so one has to get used to it.
The voice feature and speakerphone on this model is excellent and listening to those downloaded mp3's is sheer joy. The sound quality is comparable in quality to the walkman phones produced by its competitor.
This is a business type of phone and having an added feature of a 1.3 megapixel camera makes it even more flexible for leisure.
Sending SMS, MMS and surfing the websites is reasonably fast. If only Nokia had incorporated a larger screen, then reading those fine attachments would be easier.
This E-50 is a worthy successor to the rugged and dependable models such as the 6310i and 6230i and I think that it'll be a classic someday.

I bought this 7days before .It is nice mobile ,but it hangs while working on net or sending message ,final I did formatting using *#7370#,now it is working properly.

is anyone having problem using this phone with T-Mobile? do you guys have a problem with the voice mail like getting _@ text message and stuff like that?
I have Nokia6270 and I have that problem with the voice mail, I'm thiking to get E50.
what do you guys think?

I like the design and features ,except that STICK.I might like to buy this if it has a navi-key instead of joySTICK and with a FM radio and may be with a flah too..

I bought one Nokia E50, 3 weeks ago. However I think it’s a big pain in the “neck". It hangs so often (4-5 times a day) after taking calls. Sometimes the speaker phones switches on on its own while accepting a call. Then it hangs. At times it doesn’t switch off. No way to recover the situation but by removing the battery. I believe it has some inherent software problems. Nokia Care updated the software once. Nothing happened. It continued to hang. Frustrated me eventually left the phone at Nokia Care a week back. They acknowledged the issues and assured to replace it in two weeks time. Lets hope they actually do it.
