can anyone tell how loud is the loudspeaker sound of nokia e50?is it s loud as nokia 6630 or nokia n72?i am going to buy this phone,but i want the loud speker sound to be loud.

i have E50 its realy good quality phone with metal body, and its have good performance. it is a brother of Nokia 6230i. Recommend.

Hey guys!!!pl. take note that this phone doesn't have 3G capabilities and no Fm too.....This is really bad for a phone under this category...

Can anyone suggest me how to save a full screen photo as my wallpaper....Pl. advice if this phone supports 3 D moving wallpapers as well......Moreover,At the time of taking a photo it doesn't ocuupy the full screen....pl. suggest....

Does the E50 have one touch dialing like the older Nokias or is it two touch dialing like the Sonys? Is there any lag when dialing a number or only in the menus?

nobody seems to realize that this is a business phone any nothing else.
why are you guys complaining about the kind of earphones it comes with?
even the E61 only came with mono earphones.
you guys seem to want everything under the sun for a phone that costs less than $300.
its the smallest E-Series and the newest with some improved features above the E61 such as Text to Speech reader and Avaya connect.
audio quality is amazing and so is screen colour and brightness.
the camera in this phone is poor cause it is a business phone and that is why there are 2 options, one with camera and one without. they don't want you to take hig res or good quality pics of those confidential documents in your company.
even if you look at Nokia's official website......they only market the E50 as a serious business phone.
if you want a non business phone, take a look at the 5500
the E50 is by far the best built phone by Nokia thus far. solid stainless steel which is actually thick unlike the RAZR and it feels perfect in your hands with no moving/loose parts.

Sound Quality is not that good...Moreover,they r giving monoearphones...i don know why...Strange!!Nokia should improve its standard...

I got this phone recently ....one bad thing is its camera quality and it doesn't have a full screen option.u can't save full photo as ur wallpaper which is really bad.it doesn't even support 3d moving wallpapers..

you can off the shutter sound by putting the phone on silent. But i dont think u can in normal mode.

E50 is last of E series but what about camera1.3 ad without full screen option even full screen gives u same size tiny.video resolut is poor.2 MP is now standard with 6233 it is much better over all.Whats the use of sambian when software on net 3rd party r trial or locked fr buying,only for small options not really worth.S40 series is must better ad fast========

i just want to ask if this phone has the option of copy and paste in the text messages? if yes please tell me how to do it becouse another model of nokia has this option!

I have just both this phone, it's great.
My last one was 3250, almost the same phone except the size and wight. I like e50 more as a personal opinion. What i don't like is that the keypad don't lock automatic unless i lock the phone and use a password. :( same issue at 3250.

To answer previou: Full screen caller ID is provided by 3rd party app.
Mixed emotions with this one, small size of fonts isn't such a problem, positioning and small size of menu keys is.
Doesn't work with Kingston microSD I bought. UI a tad too slow.
Battery life is average.
But otherwise, a very sleek phone with a lot to offer, with price still in the acceptable range (other series e phones are getting into notebook category pricewise, which is getting pretty riddiculous).

no shutter noise can't be turned off. i think its regulation in some countries that picture taking devices need to make some kind of notification noise and thats why.
but i'm sure you can get a program that disables it.
