this phone is vantastic it has all the features that one requires however the only fault is that the speaker goes quickly but other than that this phone is one of a kind

Nokia , Pls add handwriting recognition s/w and a stylus to a phone like this and you will have a winner forever.

I had an E61 good but bulky, then I exchanged it for the E50 and became happier since then. exceot for the liitle delay opening the contacts or the menu but its an AWSOME phone that will please any one looking for every thing but phone quality is on the list top. The one I got here in Vietnam is hand brought from China and I am looking to change the firmware to the middle east or euro English but the new firmware updater doesn't exchange only update so I have to wait. officially this phone is yet to be released in Vietnam. at last, I hope there will be a new firmware release to increase the speed of opening the applications.

Do this phone have a to-do list? I read on phonescoop that it did not. And also, I have been seeing images of the E50 with white trim on the sides instead of the standard black that is ever present. Anyone else seeing this too?

i purchased this handset a week back, i works good, and the battery life is awsome.
Buy it its a steal at this price

Time to time Nokia wakes up from its deep sleep and produces a PHONE. The mobile phone, as it should be. No handycam, no portable stereo, no microwave oven, but a phone. Not a smaller notebook, a thousand office application dificult to use, but a modern mobile phone. E 50 is such a Nokia Phone. I would definetively buy one.

The best after 6310 series, good job NOKIA, the battery life is exelent, the sound quality is extremely good, and the phone has all the extras i'll ever need, mp3 ringtones sound perfect, the vibe is strong and the tft screen 240X320 is perfect, symbian 9.1 works fast and i did not met any troubles with the system at all, it works absolutely perfect, media is good on that business device, and the form factor is the best... i've no words to explein how perfect this phone is...sry 4 my english thou...good luck and buy the phone...it's the best...i've had a 6233 and it's also a good choise

feels the same in hand, and weighs and looks ruffly the same
didnt even bother switching it on

is the text to speech loud enough?i heard it's kinda soft & u can hardly hear the message reader..and how is the ringtone?

The MP3 player sound is stereo excellent. But please use an original earphone to get the maximum best quality.
Just don't understand why they sell it with mono earphone. And they don't promote sound quality...

hi, I started using this phone from two weeks. Its superb, but the only problem is the font size and there is no screensaver. Can any one suggest me the website from where i can download the softwares for this phone. thanks in advance.

E50 is superb. Only drawback is lack of WLAN support. Is there any company sell WLAN adapter which can be plugged into Nokia standard pop-port, with software driver, to make any Nokia WLAN-enabled?

I had this E50 for two weeks and its a greta phone untill yesterday when it started to switch to loudspeaker on its own, any solution?
