another thing is, it does not connect to the wifi in my work place, it comes back saying the password is incorrect where as I have personally set up the wifi settings on several other devices (Samsung tab, Ipad, Iphone and other Samsung phones) but it won't connect to mine. Even tried changing the settings from the router but no go...

Now no matter how much I try, the phone does not switch on if the Micro SD is inserted, it works otherwise. I am stumped as to whether the problem is with my microsd as it works fine on other phones, it is old, about 3 years, but it worked fine all these days.
No idea what happened all of a sudden.
I googled abt this and many people had similar problem but not that the phone wouldn't start up. I may end up buying a new microsd..but who knows.

So what I did was turned the phone off to remove the Micro SD card after backing up stuff on my pc.
When I put back the battery, the phone wouldn't turn on. I plugged in my charger and it showed that the battery has completed drained. I tried several times but inserting and uninserting the battery to switch it on. But it didn't work. I gave up, put the phone on charge over night and fell asleep. When I woke to check, the phone wouldn't still turn on. So I removed the charger and it turned on. After this I reset the phone to factory settings, inserted the Micro SD card and the phone wouldn't turn on again.

I'm here to put up a genuine experience.
I got my lumia 520 on 4th of this month. Its great, supports most of the messaging apps I was looking for. Fast, smooth haven't had any hang issues. Yes it does stutter sometimes but it becomes alright. I haven't had any serious or weird problems up to today. I wanted to do a complete reset to the phone last night simply cause I changed some settings and wanted them back to the original state.

really bad that still w... moreMy Lumia in Indonesia is the same, still not receive update firmware officially, it is still waiting for approval, I tired too waiting like this (tired too shouting in www.windowsphone.com in user voice section, asking, requesting more than thousands they just replied the same answer, they didn't want to admit the system was restricted, miss basic function, etc) so I use Nokia Software Update Retail and that makes me don't like, Microsoft doesn't want to release the update for the update in one for all that means, for example if they release it in Sep 15, 2013, the update should be available for all countries, no need approval.
Now my Lumia 520 is Lumia Amber, waiting for GDR3 for the next firmware, if they don't satisfy me I will go back to Android too.

For documents, the files should be internal memory, then choose file, long tap, share. For videos are restricted (illegality issue), if you have videos, you can share them, if you download videos by using UC Browser, can't be shared (export first to Music+Videos). Can't share application.
