I think apple is just a bad influence on Android

All the android brands see apple get way with anti consumer stuff and till it because normal
Apple will take everything away that's not nailed down there phones

Then every android brand sees they have been given the go ahead then copies apple squeeze money out of consumers and be greedy

So by apple existing problems happen actually so like a dual independent monopoly system

Both sides companys can complete too be better at squeezing money out of the consumer it's remarkable effective

There are some people who consider either
But both lock people in very tightly

At least with Android company there is choose of phone brands and favours of Android

But if we look at how phones are made
It's obvious it's probably as bad as it can gets really broken system going downhill

No control at all over are hardware or bare minimum and not much software choice

Phones only designed too last 2-3 years at best
Also very expensive on top

I actually have a friend that always had android and got tired of them, mostly samsung, because, quoting him: they never worked properly. So he bought an iphone to see if there really is such a difference and so good as every apple user claims, well he said that he will probably never go back to android, because once in his life he can actually use everything he's phone has to offer. If found it sad, but in the same time, i could understand he's problem. A guy that does not want to tweek his device, he just want's everything to work, and samsung is not that device for sure. I told him that he should try clean android, but well, is too late😅.

People are blinded by their own greed and insecurity and denial about who they actually are.

Or any experience ... moreBack in the day Alcatel was quite innovative amd had some cool stuf on their phones, were also robust and keeping up with the competition. The chinese version i never heard of so i don't know what to say about it. I do not think that nokia holds their devices patents, nokia bought alcatel network division only, as far as i know.

Just like it is in an Android device. They don't exclude each other, in my opinion. They complete each other.

I've never seen anybody buying them calling them "practical" and "useful" but instead buy them either because they have money to burn or to emulate their favorite celebrities.

Surprisingly the iPhone X which came around the same time as the Nokia 8 feels slow and laggy, considering those used by my colleagues

Much like hmd global makes Nokia branded products

then buy the phone they actually want for themselves

The iPhone no more than a status symbol in the tech industry only thing it got going for it is runs smoothly on lower end ram & storage specs then android
But iOS is prison and locked down users are locked in too iOS services and ego system and brainwashed

But iOS will surely slow down when apple wants there fan's too upgrade too new iphone

Basically android so fussy and resources hogging it makes the phones feel really slow and sluggish even if the hardware in them is good

Often budget Android phone are truly insufferable and unbearable freezing up all the time
Basically the really cheap android phones that cost around £50 there horrible experience having life with them

Fake stuff is so popular there people who can't afford the real thing buy the fake instead be it clothing phones anything really

So the smartphone market is messed up

Apparently they do not understand that they don't fool anybody about their finance status. Even if they have an iphone, people can still see who they actually are. An expensive phone does not make anybody suddently rich. A rich person does not need a phone to tell her/him who he/she is. The worst are tough those buying fake and extremely ugly gucci, versace armani clothing.

Nokia fan, 27 Feb 2023So they aren't there in the UK?Can buy oppo anyway and look at them in shops but Vivo just need do online shopping too buy one

Vivo are available and can be brought in the UK market am sure if someone wanted one they could easily get one

But without buying one I can't study them figure out how good the brand is and phone Modals are in the same way I can with more popular brands or phones am familiar with

Minu, 27 Feb 2023On a positive note, you can try universal spare parts on HM... moreWhen someone buys a phone and it gets a problem, he/she prefers to take the phone to customer care location in their country so that it can be fixed. When you say a customer should try universal spare parts, it sounds too technical. For instance if an iphone falls and the touch screen cracks, it's easy for an iphone user to take it to an iphone authorized dealer to get his/her phone screen replaced.

This is where HMD has failed. It doesn't matter if HMD is focusing on building a sturdy phone, so long as they don't create spare parts in the countries they are selling the phone to, HMD will lose customers.

I come from Kenya and in my country, if there is a problem with a phone, it's very simple, take it to the authorized dealer and he will fix it. But unfortunately here in Kenya and other countries Nokia don't have spare parts. Many Kenyans that have bought Nokia phones are angry that there are no spare parts.

So far the X30 and G60 haven't arrived in Kenya and it should not because HMD will make losses trying to convince Kenyans in buying the phone. Currently Kenyans are telling other Kenyans not to buy Nokia phones due to the authorized Nokia dealers not having spare parts.

Remember them as the phone I couldn't get too corporate with what I was trying to do

I was never able understand there software layout or navigation systems works and the touch screen don't behave in the way I would naturally control a phone

There seems be a huge learning curve too them
They run colour os is there favours of Android on oppo phones

As someone control the exact position and of screen and movements am not used too how they seem too work and auto adjust or at least what I think there doing

There quite expensive normally I think
Not too sure about there hardware as am not actually that familiar with them

I have no experience with Vivo phones or seen any of them in person but know of them

Nokia fan, 25 Feb 2023Is Nokia a better brand than Huawei? I really want to love ... moreGuess what? I was first discouraged by my own peers to buy Nokia phones running Android.
My peers used Samsung phones at the time, and they were surprised at how good my phone's photos look with Google camera which no Samsung or BBK phone so far managed to run it stably. Plus the ringtones in Nokia phones are pretty attention-grabbing compared to most other brands.
I'm definitely pleased with my phone since I've never seen any $200 giving a better user experience
