The phone maker HMG Global simply licensed the name and they design and make the phones and pay Nokia a license fee to use the name. Finland hasn't had anything to do with the phones since they ended the phone division.
Outside of that, Nokia phones are junk and HMG is failing pretty bad when one sees the Nokia 9 update fiasco. It would be silly to buy anything but a low-end Nokia that one doesn't mind losing or breaking.

This smartphone sure lost a lot of its value real fast
At least now this phone is at a much more reasonable price for new buyers

I got Android 12 on my XR20 my best smartphone till date thumbs up Nokia keep on going with good sales and service

I am happy to inform you that the faulty charger has finally been replaced with a new one and I have collected it from the service centre in Mumbai on the 1st of this month.

Finally, after numerous followups via e-mail and calls, Nokia (India) has replaced the faulty charger with a new one. The people at the Mumbai service centre which is a multi-brand service centre were polite and understanding. I was told a replacement takes one week once the job-sheet is made out and it would not be repaired but would be a new one. Unfortunately, the charger that came as a replacement within one week was of the wrong wattage (5V~1A) which I noticed before accepting the replacement. On bringing it to their notice immediately, they verified it with the faulty charger and said they would replace it and it would take another week.
However, it was nearly after three weeks and more correspondence via calls, on WhatsApp and e-mails to the service centre that I was informed that the correct replacement (5V~2A) had come and I should collect it.
So finally my tryst for the faulty charger replacement ended on 1st July and I am thankful to the staff of the service centre and the last Customer Care Executive who attended my grievance.
My sincere thanks to GSMarena too for sharing my plight.

Anonymous, 19 May 2022Purchased an expensive Nokia XR20 in February from a repute... moreIi would blame it on your locals, as this type of ugly behavior happens mostly in your country so i would complain streight to Nokia headquarters in Finland, if i were you, under waranty they have to change the charger.

Instead of laughing, i would do some sport if i were you, as for most of the 3 year olds, to lift 300 Grams is like holding a feder... just saying.

SD 480 is a bummer. What happened to Brains in Nokia? I applied Nokia jobs, they didn't hire me. I guess their hiring team is ****. Downfall of Nokia still continues. Change the way you hire or change your hiring team. A Nokia Fanboy.

Formidable smartphone and ideal to have when you work in construction. It's extremely solid
it fell from 1m a couple of times and nothing besides some scuffs. I don't even use a case because it's already a large phone. This phone easily lasts a lifetime if not for the non removable battery but despite that this phone is formidable.
