Nokia XR20 Android update status
Currently: Android 11
The latest official Android version available for Nokia XR20 is Android 11. This is the same Android version the phone was originally launched with - it hasn't received any Android updates as of yet. This phone was originally released on 7 / 2021.
Upcoming updates?
Expected: Android 12, Android 13 and Android 14
Nokia has promised to deliver these major Android versions for Nokia XR20: Android 12, Android 13 and Android 14.
However, this is only the manufacturer's promise, as far as we know - Nokia might release even further updates to the phone later or might end support earlier on.

    Nokia XR20---It is the BEST PHONE AVAILABLE ON THIS PLANET....PLEASE GO FOR IT.... Finally I have shifted myself from stupid mindset of iphone disease (have been using iphone since last 7 + years & my last iphone was iphone 11) to beautiful Nokia XR20...
    Let me share my honest feedback about Nokia XR20 after using for almost 4 months now...i have been one stupid diehard fan of iPhone for unknown reasons till today & i have been slave to this iPhone concept for a long time for UNKNOWN REASONS which i really feel sorry for myself.... Finally i am able to get rid of it and bought Nokia XR20 just 3 months before. LET me tell you friends, it is just awesome and just best in all aspects, THE BEST PHONE on this planet, no lagging, extremely smooth software experience, excellent battery, very decent camera, amazing stereo speakers, best display.... And it is 10000% rugged in true sense. Just 10 days before my phone was just jumped out of moving auto from my pocket by mistake on heavy traffice road of bangalore, let me tell you honestly my auto was moving too fast & the phone was almost toppled for more than 100 meters and two autos and one tempo who were coming behind after the traffic signal moved over my phone, i suddenly i jumped out of auto and went and picked up the phone,,, LET ME TELL YOU, I was completely shocked and speechless looking at my phone, " there was not even a single scratch on the body or the display & it was in same old original condition and nothing happened ",,,,, I was extremely happy and said thanks to Nokia mobile company for giving such a beautiful phone. Imagine what would have happened if any other phone like iphone fallen ?? it would have completely destroyed. Hats off to Nokia company for delivering such an amazing phone....It is just " NO-NONSENCE AMAZING PHONE" in all aspects.....Now i truly became a fan of Nokia for a known good reason......Long live Nokia....Hats off to Nokia for great commitment on quality....

      don't buy it no android updated to android 14 , no Security Patch update for 4 years - all of this it's fake , update stopped on Dec 2021 - and nokia not answer us about this issue...

        Loco, 10 Mar 2022Yea right 500 for a phone with low specs I’ll pass. The Snapdragon 480 is a pretty quick chip that outpaces a lot of previous gen 600, 700 and 800 series processors. (see benchmarks) I definitely think the price is a bit too steep though and in-person the screen has an awful 'shadow' effect not only around the hole punch but also the edges. Hopefully that can be fixed in the next version.

          Read all the negative reviews and still bought it! Not because I'm a Nokia fan. I've used high end Samsung devices before. Been using the phone now. How is it? Just great! Smooth, fast, no lags, great sound, signal strength, etc. Yes, the camera may not be the best in the world, but Nokia more than makes up for it by offering great specs. and software updates. What's the point in having a phone packed with features and one dunk in the water and it's toast!

                  Have had the phone for less than 3 months and sent in twice for warranty. Been informed it's software glitches/corrupted files causing the earphone speaker to drop out (unable to hear other person speaking on other line). Apart from these issues, I find the phone absolutely solid - responsive and at least when people glance at it, I won't be worried about it being stolen - Nokia brand.

                    Can anyone confirm if this phone has HDMI ALT video output support? I see USB-C 3.0 on the spec sheet, so I am wondering if this can do video out.

                          The button is really bad. Too small. The design. The button is too flat. So turning off the phone is not easy. I usually felt asleep using phone. Then i will turn off n leave the phone. Most of the time, i will miss the button. Instead , it will be playing like an alarm. Sometime, i just want to shoot the phone for good, as it disturb my sleeping mode, when I try not to miss that flat button. Why the hell, didnt design like the normal phone button.

Apart from that it is an excellent phone, it's been 3 months now my journey with Nokia XR20. Have to admit that phone is really rugged as dropped multiple time but every time it come's out as winner. Phone performance is also very good .. never had any hang issue so far. Although bit heavier for Pocket especially if I compare with S8 but not that problematic. Great work By Nokia and HMD!! Thanks!

                              but still my advice is use it with a screen protector & rugged case as well as no smartphone is safe from being broke no matter how rugged they are made

                              only unknow is how easy the phone is to repair like battery change if was needed rubbed phones are normaly harder to open and fix

                              main weakness is
                              The performance is weak for the price range

                                Hello how is the durability of the phone? I need a Nokia again, I got a Nokia 2. Sold it, got myself a Huawei Mate 30 pro 5G and it doesn't boot after only a couple of months!!! Stay away from Huawei. Now I want a sturdy solid and foremost a RELIABLE phone. Nokia XR20 is a good one? Can it hold on for like 3-4 years?

                                  I suprie about camera, Priti good fotos as wel CPU file good same like middle 7 series phones som lag 0.9 procent lak of 4k video for prize and Ruger, good phone

                                    I've had my XR20 for a few months,am very happy with it,good battery life,good connection with phone/internet,fast charge with cable or wireless,looks good & feels like a rugged phone should. Would recommend this to you.
