Only thing is i brought it from o2 online and it was £179.99!! Ripped off maybe?

I think youd be very hard pushed to find a better phone for £129. The only downside is the camera is poor but camera phones even the 3+MP high end ones are still overall v.poor quality compared to your average dedicated cam. Oh and you CAN NOT change the message tone, a minor quibble really.
Mp3, mp3 ringtones, video, high quality screen, clam design - all excellent.
Text has iTap which is OK but better off in my opinion.

I have ordered my o2x3 yesterday and i am awaiting delivery. as i am a impulse buyer i did not read this before and are concerned that there are still so many problems.
I currently have the panasonic gd87 with great pic quility. Do anyone know the differenace in these phone quility?
Also wondering how the text works, is it t9?
All comments would be greatfully accepted.

Well... looks like we have a faulty handset again, which somehow makes the entire X3 Range crap ??? WTF??

Well, you chickened out, and I bet you spend more to get a better named phone... But the mmajority of people who bought this phone was on a BUDGET who cannot afford to go out and buy more highly specified phones! for ££150, its a steal!

Not the easiest of phones to get to grips with, but the MP4 sample clip that came with the phone is awesome!! If only I had some MP4's on my desktop! (hhmmm!) The clamshell design looks sexy but the black top soon gets dirty and youll find yourself cleaning it down every time you use it. The sound quality is great making it ideal for listening to MP3's but no radio?!?! In summary if you want to stand out this phone is different enough to put you there, afterall if all you wanted was a phone you'd still carry a brick!

I'll be blunt, the specifications sell this phone and it looks great. But when you get it you'll realise its rubbish!! It takes a long long time to access your data, you have to buy additional accesories to enable you to transfer data between the fantastic 32mb memory card and your computer, no bluetooth, 10 rubbish ringtones and no obvious way to change them. Very difficult and slow message creating screen and an awful doorbell noise text alert which you can't change!! To sum up I have sent mine back to 02 returns.

NO!!! NOT EVERY PHONE CAN SEND VIA INFRARED AND THEY DO NOT NEED SETTINGS!!!!
Person who was talking about not being able to send picture messages, I think that is a SIM card problem, as I am still able to send Pictures and am using my original sim card which I have had for 2+ years...

i dpnt like the picture quality at all. i like the messaging and the mini sd card the way it is. i like the style of it but i dont like the name of it.

turn off camera click then when your taking a photo make sure its on indoors mode unless your outside.hold the phone still for few seconds after you take pic then you will master it.iv taken some quality pics with it maybe not 1.3 mega pixel quality but sure beets the pants off sharp gx30

wellll worst phone i ever had after dozen phone calls to so called customer care still cant send pics .think it very hard work to use and the handbook is a laugh.anybody any advice on fixing the photo thing ? cheers diver

if you download both .jar and .jad files available from midlet.org then write to your mem card (with the reader/writer) put both files .jar and .jad into the folder (java) on mem card if there isnt one email me ill send you all the folders + 2 games off my mem card this way it definatly work. the ames are breakout and pend (a 3d game like doom)

This has been covered countless number of times... YOU CANNOT SEND VIA INFRARED!!!!! And settings for infra red? Wtf are you on about?????

hi, ive just bought an o2 x3 and ive got the crazy frog video and when i send it 2 my sd card anmd put it in the video folder no files come onto my phone, i herd summot about u need 2 rip it can somebody help me email me please!!! thanx adam!

Jason, thanks for the link to that games site. I've put loads of the games on my mem card and it looks as if it's all going to work....but then it says "failed" each time i press install!
The games look compatible with my phone, so any suggestions?! cheers!
