Does the X3 do 3PG Video format. When trying to downlaod 3GP videos of Wap you get a error saying file to large which makes no sense as the files are not big at all!!!

I've finally managed to get Wap and MMS sorted on my X3 but I had to do it myself. O2 were of no use whatever. I still can't get any MP3's onto the MiniSD. Anyone got any ideas? I've assembled the tracks for upload but the software that comes with the phone tells me they cannot be uploaded. What's the point of a phone that claims to be an MP3 player if you can't upload any MP3s ????

Laura, just got my x3 so this is almost first impressions; but if you're into texting a lot; look elsewhere. The message alert tone doesn't appear to be changeable and the one they give you is crap and really quiet (you can't tell you have any txts most of the time!), and the pre-emptive texting, although very concise, doesn't seem as intuitive as on a nokia, and there appears to be no user dictionary, so you can't program in your favourite swear words! But if you're after a good looking phone with good ringtones and a nice camera with a great screen, this is pretty good! A nice ability the phone has is to be able to upload free midi files that you find on the net to the phone via the USB cable provided and use them as polyphonic ringtones.. very nice, and cheap! ;)

Would it be a good idea to get the x3? I currently have a nokia 3200 and i think its crap. Should i get the x3 or look elsewhere?

Just got the o2x3, seems ok, but does anyone know how to change the message alert tone? The default is really crap. Also, does it have a user dictionary for the predictive texting? can't find that either! cheers! :-)

There is no headphone jack, you need to use the earphones provided, MP3 is stereo and reliability depends on he handset, many have problems with theirs, but I have not experienced one yet.

                          hi aleha
get your formatted memory card and put it in your phone then take it back out now put it in your card reader you should now have a folder for your media to go don't make your mp3s any smaller than 80kbit 32000hs stereo cos they will not work. and nero is a good tool to do all your cutting down songs or downgrading your kbits to 80kbits

i think the worst features about this fone is the text reading, message tone, and some times my sound stays on silent when i switch profiles apart from that i think the fones great. that answer ur quetion joanne

mark, i dont no y it said something about download only, as i am aware of, that means that you cant record videos and them upload them back on you computer.if it says this file cant be transferred it means it is the wrong format, only mp4 and 3gp formats are allowed.

if you want these best option is buying a memory card adaptor only a five on www.expansys.com

After reading Tims review i have to disagree sorry. Yes it is let dow by a few things but it is certainly not cheap and plasticy. It looks fantastic and very sleek in the silver and metallic black design. In comparisson to the e700 this wins even through its faults. The e700 cant do nothing apart from camera which isnt even great. Im not saying this X3 has the best one out there but the pictures sort of match up in the right conditions. There are lots more features and fun things to do on the x3 that you cant do on the samsung and plus the e700 and most other samsung phones are very fragile and feel like they will break easily. But both have their faults and their pluses. Hope i helped a few peeps.

This could be such a great phone if only they'd spent a couple of weeks sorting out little problems with the OS, mostly to do with presentation. I had a X1 briefly, and I'm sure the menu system on that wasnt as amateurish to look at :/ Reading texts in particular is a chore, the blinking cursor and font used looks so cheap.

I dont really like the styling of the handset either, and it feels plasticy and cheap compared to my old E700. The numberpad is very small and cluttered, so its easy to press buttons you didn't mean to.

There are just too many niggling things wrong with this handset. Just like the first edition of the X1, on the X3 some excellent technology has been let down by some very poor design.

I upgraded from a Samsung E700, and to be honest I wish I hadn't. If you think this phone is for you, make sure you get it from somewhere you can return it. Its just not quite right. Which is annoying.
