LG G2 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs. Sony Xperia Z1: The triumvirate

In paper this 3way comparison is actually right. Note 3 is probably the best smartphone out there. LG G2 is also a very good smartphone. But everyone values diferent things over others.
I bought the Z1 and I do not regret it. I don't mind it being "on paper" the No 3 in this comparison.
The Premioum Feel and Look.
Top Camera quality in all situations (could be a bit better in macro)
Water resistant (yes it matters to me because I am a lifeguard spending most of my time next to a pool)
Sony's android skin is the best looking and clean (I know it misses alot of features that others have but I don't really use them)
That's why for ME Z1 is a winner. I don't care if 2 or 10 phones are better than mine. So people just use the smartphone you value most and you shouldn't care if it THE BEST as long as you are happy with it.

Note 3 is the best smartphone of the year, undisputed, 3rd year straight for samsung.
Even with the OIS(lg) and 20Mp(z1), note 3's camera still beat them :)
Where are the Lg and Sony fanboys, G2 beat iphone 5s, but Note 3 beats G2, ultimately Note3 is way better than the 5S. :)

I think Sony must continue to get better and better.
They have done a great job, regarding the fact that they are in smartphone contest just for two years and right now they are among the bests.
Some aspects still need improvement:
1. Screen: i think they must continue making some great ones like that of ZU.
2. Software optimization: specially in camera department.
3. Battery: Sony uses juicy batteries but their endurance is weak. I think the main reason is their screen type.
4. Bezels: I think big bezels in late models is somehow disappointing. It makes the phone ugly and more important, hard to handle.
5. Design: although Sony has started its so called Omniballance design just in 2013, they need to change it soon in order not to get boring like what Sammy has done these last years.
And finally about the review: I love you GSMArena.
You're the most unbiased site i ever seen. keep making such great review.

If you really have, you won't complain about the screen quality. It's excellent. Even though I don't own them, I tried playing at show room, I already find their screen excellent. I don't find viewing angle an issue at all. Don't find any valid reason for the viewing angle bashing.

I'll go for g2.
A bigger screen always means alot to me, but the snapdragon 800 version of note3 Is not available in our region, so g2 it is.

Recently I got time to spend with all the three smartphones. To come straight to the point the note 3 is a phablet. if you don't mind the size and the fact that it is much more expensive that the other lot go for it.. the Sony Z1 is definitely the weakest of the three in terms of overall package.. I mean its as big as the note 3 and its bezels are huge and still offers only a 5 inch display which is no match to the display of the G2 or N3.. so for me.. the best smartphone in today's market with brilliant performance, good camera and abundant software to back it up is the great LG G2. I mean its has a brilliant screen, the size is sleek.. plus the battery it offers is outstanding considering the frame.. A big thumbs up for the G2.. The costumers love you..

just calm down people, sony only aim for 3rd position not 1st / 2nd :)
so with Z1, for me sony already achieve 3rd position (based on current gsm arena review). maybe in 2014 sony climb up to 2nd position.. who knows since 2013 is a new begining for Sony Mobile and they already did great job.

AnonD-52738, 18 Oct 2013Just finish watching the video you post up, it just waste m... moreReally that was only one video I posted there are several I could of posted and what I don't like are ppl who think I'm bashing Samsung I am not all, there is constructive criticism and Samsung needs to revamp touchwiz and unless you Note 3 owners disable all those stupid gimmicks you don't use as time progresses the lag will become more apparent and for the anonymous guy saying note 3 is king I don't dispute that cause that's probably true but don't come and give Samsung free points where it clearly suffers most and that's with touchwiz that takes up more than 70mb of ram on the s4 and it has to be more on the note 3 if some of those apps aren't disabled. It's also apparent to me as time progress what ppl say about android oem's racing for specs is becoming more apparent cause the Moto x with a dual core s4 pro runs just as smooth or even smoother than some of these S600 and S800 devices.

The video is showing outer comparison more than software itself.
The only part it slow not instant pop up is the My Magazine in Note 3 compare with One Max Blindfeed.
This is not lag, as Samsung never auto turn on the My Magazine after you on the phone, it only load when you need it. Once you load for 1st time, the My Magazine is open instant after that.
I find this pretty well design, I no need it auto and keep loading in background.

I have had my GN3 1.5 weeks and have never had a single lag or hang.... sorry. NOTE 3 IS KING!
