AnonD-186803, 20 Oct 2013Thanks :) While we're in the business of apologising, I did... moreTrue
And as for sunlight that is when the S4 is not in auto brightness. At that point it's brightness level is anywhere from 100-200 nits dimmer than the others. And for being that much dimmer it still holds good ground. But when brought up to similar brightness level it well exceeds the competing LCD's.

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2013z1 is the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!
g2... moreThe comparison is fair and nothing wrong.
If Note 3 need to kick out, then Z1 as well. Z1 screen is 5 inch but the whole phone is big in size, Z1 body size not much different than Note 3.

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2013z1 is the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!! g2... moreWith same screen resolution and processor. It's not like its comparing a Full HD phab with S800 to a 720p phone with S600. And since it's screen is bigger that puts it disadvantage in battery comparison. So it's entirely fair. Besides it's still Android and a phablet is just a fancy word for a phone with a large screen.

TheNeighbor, 21 Oct 2013Thank you, Bunyip. The Note 3's screen really is something ... moreBecause for Sony fans, they got nothing much to fight back. The whole Z1 is not a great as they though and not much to revenge back.
The only they can said is AMOLED hurt eye, bad color reproduction, those false alarm.
They not even compare it, ignore all professional site review on how great the recent AMOLED display use by Samsung since S4.

[deleted post]In reality the Z1 and GN3 are very close in size so its fair enough to compare them. These 3 are the best phones from the respective manufactures after all.
The ZU on the other hand is a good device ruined by mcmassive bezels & very poor battery life.

Dear editor,
Please also include the basic phone features in your test! ie. talk time, reception etc.
After all, we need to use phones to talk, right?

[deleted post]agree 100%. And I think XZ1 is the best of all, It got waterproof feature which is very useful in my country which only has 2 seasons (summer and rain), I don't care about huge bezels or what as long as the phone's build is good, and take a better picture with it's camera I'll buy it. And The Sony's UI is far way better than these two imo. I don't too much colors UI

AnonD-77443, 20 Oct 2013 i will assume you haven't seen a note 3 and made that comm... moreThank you, Bunyip. The Note 3's screen really is something to behold. The crispness of its Super AMOLED screen is just a fast for the eyes!
People who bought Xperias are just making excuses for Sony.
If poor viewing angles was an intended privacy feature Sony came up with, why aren't they advertising it?!
Die hard Sony fans just keep telling that AMOLED screens hurt their eyes, but in reality Note 3 came last with brightness in this test. AMOLEDs actually can be toned down and gives the best brightness filter control than LCDs.
I still use LCDs, but to totally be ignorant and dismiss AMOLED screens, especially when they can accurately replicate true colors just baffles me.

AnonD-198076, 20 Oct 2013Lost? haha lost at what?? Every review I read puts the Z1 ... moreThat same drop test also had the Z1 not working at all. The Note 3's glass broke, but it was still functional. Z1 is lesser in battery stamina, lesser in features and less versatile than a Note 3.

AnonD-77443, 20 Oct 2013 i will assume you haven't seen a note 3 and made that comm... moreI think IPS is better to. I see more sharpness on the g2 screen than the S4. It's just something about amoled that doesn't seem sharp as LG IPS displays. Ive tried the note 3 and it's better than the s4 display but I still think the g2 was better.

onex, 20 Oct 2013amoled is not over nothing!!!!! ips lcd ftw! i will assume you haven't seen a note 3 and made that comment out of ignorance. The note 3 amoled screen is arguably the best screen available.

LG might have had to give up microSD support because Google asked for it to choose LG as the maker of the Nexus 5. That's my guess.
Having that disadvantage I definitely can't consider the G2 as my next upgrade, although I know a 32GB version is available, it's not enough to store all my media; specially music and videos, that having such a nice and big screen I'll want to, sorry LG. The "problem" gets more noticeable when you do the maths:
Note 3: 24GB usable out of 29GB for the 32GB version, add the 60GB from a 64GB SD card, you have 84GB in total.
Z1: 11GB+60GB= 71GB.
Both much more storage than the G2 (only some 24GB).
Not a real problem for many, though.
So, I think I'm going for the Z1, the Note 3 is already available in my country (Peru) and the Z1 is yet to arrive in a couple if months, but I'm not in the hurry do I'll check both hands on first n.n
Oh, but I'm more interested in the Z Ultra. I wanted a bigger screen device this time as I have a nice compact one already (Razr i). But stupid Sony is unlikely releasing the Z Ultra here... So we'll see.
Btw, the three of them are great, it's just up to each of us to pick the one that fits your liking better.
No one is an absolute "best" here. Guys, understand that and stop arguing about it. You look stupid doing it.

AnonD-198076, 20 Oct 2013Lost? haha lost at what?? Every review I read puts the Z1 ... moreWat??!?!? Now your really delusional. I watched a drop test and the z1 screen wouldn't even turn on. The note 3 outlasted the 5s, the phone that u praised for build. The z1 is mediocre for a flagship. Definitely not on par with g2 or note 3. Speaker is definitely not all that. Battery is no comparison to note 3. Did you look at the video and web browsing??? Terrible. Now you are just being ridiculous. For a flagship that barely last as long as a 5s? Build is great but saying its better just because of build while not judging anything else is just biased and stupid. Plus Sense is much smoother and zippy than Sony ui. And for a phone that has a 5 inch screen and the size of note 3 and weighs like a brick, you aren't backing it up very diligently. And the z1 still barely won the camera section. Your are blinded by beauty and its making u look foolish

AnonD-166796, 20 Oct 2013Put a note 3 vs a iPhone 5s on a table and let anyone choos... moreLost? haha lost at what??
Every review I read puts the Z1 above the g2 and on pair with the note 3, check pocketnow for example.
FYI, best IU is vanilla android, second is Sony's UI, screen is gorgeous, camera.. well do I need to tell you what you already know? speaker is pretty good actually, not on the same level as HTC One but still quite good, bad memory.. what? battery lasts 1 and a half day which is more than enough.
And yes build quality is excellent, did you see the drop test vs the note 3? the Z1 never broke while the note 3's screen was all shattered.
But w/e I guess you love phones that look like dove soaps and have cheap plastic materials.
