smoothness or snappiness doesn't matter to most practical people. only the really anal ones get ticked off by a few milliseconds of lag that happens a few times a day.

TouchWiz is one of the biggest reasons I prefer Samsung over any Nexus device. A"pure"Android experience is bland and ho-hum, while I constantly use many TouchWiz exclusive features. I couldn't care less about getting the latest OS updates when what's available falls short of my expectations.

Out of 11 benchmarks, note wins 4 of them, nexus wins 6 of them, and one is a tie (not that benchmarks are really important).
In real life, nexus is snappier in almost all aspects, especially multitasking.

I had a Note4 on upgrade, sent it back 1 week later. Lag, lag, lag. Got a Z3 instead, and am now selling that one a month later. Bought a OnePlus instead and have CM12 running on it. Perfect. Beats the Note4 and Z3 in every aspect. Just does the job of Lollipop perfectly. And it has the Cyanogen tie-in as well. Ace.

Battery life and performance of the note 4 are simply awesome. Only heavy or buisness users know really how important this endurance is beside all performances. My lg g3 is quite poor in that case. If the g4 wont match this much better my next one will be the note 4. Even the price now is adequate after few months from release.

Yes, the Note 4 is an awesome phone, but I chose the Nexus 6 for one reason only ... unlockable bootloader.
As a VZW user whose previous phone was the Note 3, dealing with the way VZW and Samsung lock down their phones was enough to push me to the Nexus. For those of us that like to run custom ROMs, the Note 4 was never even a viable option, regardless of the specs.

What the shootout shows is extremely clear: the Nexus 6's defeat at the hands of the Note 4. Except a few glitches here and there, the Note 4 easily wins this comparo. It's beastly specs, mindblowing display, great (and slightly laggy) UI, awesome camera and the venerable S-Pen make sure it becomes the undisputed King of Phablets.

It Clearly shows that Note 4 is clear winner in almost all benchmarks...!
You are just a blind fanboy , TouchWiz in not as heavy as it was before...so performance and battery life is great on Note 4...!

I personally love TouchWiz & would prefer it over any other Skins , especially over stock android skin...the stock android skin is so boring for me...!

Love it or hate it the results are in and they are accurate. Note 4 trumps nexus 6 and the reason is simple. The note 4 is a true phablet, with added functionality to make use of the real estate. The nexus 6, like the iPhone 6 Plus, is just a large phone with little to nothing more added to take advantage of its size. That's why this battle was a landslide.
I'm sorry Google but the nexus 6 vs the note 4 is the equivalent of bringing a knife to a gun fight, there is no match, the note 4 is in a league of its own. Point blank. Now nexus 6 vs iPhone 6 Plus is something I'd like to see. That should be an even match-up. The only thing we can compare the note 4 to is the note 3. Yep the nexus 6 never had a chance.
Btw, to all the touchwiz detractors calling it lagwiz and what have you just FYI that issue has been addressed and resolved with the note 4. However bloat is still a valid argument but doesn't impact the actual user experience as it did in the past.
