Don't expect that Samsung will put everything in this flagship device. It's business guys. If all the features are here, what will be next with s7,s8, s9 and so on?nothing..Probably s7 will be waterproof, s8 with sd card and s9 with removable battery. That's their business timeline.

I e... moreIndeed. looks like a promising phone and true no product is perfect. Having said the unit tested might be pre-production model. So battery life will be much better with the production model.
With regards to wireless charging it depends on the person. I don't mind just leaving the phone on charging pad instead of hooking it up to power supply. So in my opinion it's not a bad feature, but that's just me.

On wireless charging, nice idea but is it practical?
I either charge at night where it won't matter (other than less wear on the port), or during day when needing a top up.
The latter means I have to leave the phone flat on the charging pad, where as wired charging I can pick it up and use the phone which is more comfortable.
Anyhow mute point as heard no charging pad supplied, just cable charger.
With the lower battery performance than s5 I can see a lot of top up charging... Sure there's a fast charge option, but not great if you're out and about.
Looks like promising phone but like all phones has it's compromises .

Looks like a brilliant phone.
Interesting how PenTile displays are making their way back.
I wonder if no microSD slot is a sign of the times more than anything else. Hmm..

Hahaha..., 16 Mar 2015Maybe you mean "dream of..." Look, who's got the ... moreApple's sales and profits will decline drastically now that they've played their last card. I expect a decline to $20b profit in 2-3 years.
Also, Apple has lost more cases to Samsung than they have won. They were even forced to publicly apologize to Samsung in one case.

Kyembe, 15 Mar 2015...But they have beaten apple in everything you can think ofMaybe you mean "dream of..." Look, who's got the record for sales profit and unit sales? This tells so much of the apple products... You sell one 1 yr old Sammy phone and the value is very low. Now, you sell another 1 yr. old iPhone and the value is still higher than the Sammy's. This is just one of the "premiums or value" of the Apple products.
Even in court battles, Sammy always lose.

AnonD-126854, 16 Mar 2015"Fanloving"???? LOL I wouldn't buy S6 or S6 Edge... moreIs fine. You have your views on S6. Samsung will not feel the pinch at all because its orders will going to be rocket high. People nowadays are going for the looks of phones because phones are becoming more like a lifestyle thing instead of a necessary tool. Go for the M9 or something else if you need sd slot. But looking at M9, I already got bored by its look.

"Unfortunately I was told on the 12th of march to avoid battery testing because I have a a 'training device' and there will be new updated software on the retail version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 upon its release (April 10th in the UK). Therefore any tests I do wouldn't be a true reflection of the device. Everything else on the phone I should be able to test in full."
Every battery life testing on the S6 right now is inaccurate.

lets face it Samsung is trying to ripoff its customer-base with the removal of 2 key features: removable battery and the microsd slot that made Samsung desirable, with their smoke and mirrors charade... the only thing we can do is not buy their new crappy phones in hopes they wouldn't make the same mistake with the note 5...

darkraver, 15 Mar 2015But hey, fanloving Samsung must go on, no matter what...Right?"Fanloving"???? LOL
I wouldn't buy S6 or S6 Edge and will never recommend it, because Samsung must be punished for non-replaceable battery and no SD support.
But also can not hide the truth, that after the first update, and even on the launch THE BATTERY WILL BE MUCH BETTER. And GSMA know that very well, but S6 is not Apple product, so....
It always happen with all the phones before the launch, not to be optimized. Right?

darkraver, 15 Mar 2015Nah, not trolling, trolling means bashing with unvalid poin... moreYou are asking for a question that only a Samsung engineer can reply to if you really think about it. Asking impossible questions to try to close discussions in your favor makes you looking like a trool to people who actually think twice about your question.
Who Honestly here knows what kind of controller or new generation digitizer that amoled screen is using ?

If the 128GB version became widely available then I wouldn't be as concerned. However, based on past Samsung release history, the only version you will be able to find will be the 32GB version.
Like i said, wireless and fast charging are good features but aren't any help for times you don't have a power point.

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2015Does the S6 have micro SD? No! Therefore it is a fact. I... moreMake sure to read what other's say. Yes S6 doesn't have micro sd card slot, due to new ufs 2.0 memory. Thus Samsung isn't taking it's customers for fools. Also as I mentioned wireless charging is more than adequate. Furthermore you can charge S6 for 10 min and you will have battery for 4 hours which is good feature.
