I think it's useful when you compare 20-16mpx camera versus 8mpx Iphone camera, compare also with downscaled images with photoshop more mpx cameras, because you can get the effect of the more resolved details in 1:1 competition.

Throw in the Lumia 1020, it should be the benchmark.

I think iPhone will lose in this competition with a bad luck, it's not fair for a 8 MP camera to competit with other 3 phones have a 16 MP camera.
I see that Note 4 is the best of them all for its sharp clear details and natural colourful pictures.

I don't get why the iPhone 6+ wasn't used for the comparison, since it has OIS. That would be a more apples to apples comparison of flagship smartphone cameras.

Also, as others have said the Nokia 1020 and/or Nokia 808 should pretty much always be included in a flagship phone camera shootout like this, since they set the bar for phone camera quality and still have sensors that completely eclipse anything else out there in physical size (therefore performing better in low light, resolving more detail, having more accurate colors, etc.).

I guess making that comparison would just embarrass new supposedly flagship phones like the S6 and iPhone 6, showing how behind the times they remain. No one wants to buy a brand new, just released phone, and realize its camera is still mediocre, even for a phone.
