AnonD-259759, 22 Oct 2015Anyone has other credible websites on this Mi 4c battery te... morePhomearena has posted the battery benchmarks for the 4c and also got a a so-so result--a little over 6 hours and not much different from the LG g4, nexus 5x, or moto x pure (even though those phones have QHD screens or smaller batteries). I think that test does not emphasize standby time as much, but this is still a result that is less than most 801 phones. My takeaways: 1) the 808 is not very battery-efficient, just like the 615 and 810. 2) MIUI is not very well optimized for battery life either.

I sold my Mi4i because I can't bear with the overheat (more than 60C).

here is the true facts. All Xiaomi flagships use glass with built in digitizer (this is what concore glass is, cornings version of glass/digitizer combo) This is BAD BAD BAD, because if you crack the glass, touch will always stop working.
Xiaomi is one of the very few companies left who use this bad tech, probably because it's cheaper.

just because it doesn't use gorilla glass doesn't mean it has no scratch resistance.
hey it use concore glass. it is scratch resistance glass produce by same company, yes Corning!
they have different name because each has different application, concore glass used because it suitable with OGS display and they have same strenght.

This one can't do more then 4h of SoT with browsing, not much more then 3h of video reproducing (also streming from web included in time).
I just didn't test waiting time, 'cose obvious reasons, i need phone for ussage.

Samsung's AMOLED has a lot to do with that, it doesn't use energy for black color, and this tests don't count it, but in real life ussage, it's far from what tests are showing

I am just wondering how does GSMarena testing battery!?
I wish my phones can do at least a HALF of times you guys are writing...
Web browsing!? No chance that this one go more then 4h...usually it's more like 3,5h.
My previous devices was same (S5,S3, One M8...) all, but Xperia Z(first one) doing LOT LESS than yours tests shows.

I have a galaxy s6 andnyou can call the battery everything but definitely not good. The battery life is nothing more than OK and not better than average or phones that I saw here with a lower rating. I remember the first gen moto g from Motorola getting a worse battery rate in this test, I used this phone for two months some time ago and the battery life was definitely better than the galaxy's... And that's not only my impression, a friend of mine and me often tell each other what amount of battery we archived to lose over night without even touching the phone, you would for sure not believe me if I told you how much it can be sometimes...

The rear panel can't be removed, which means you can replace your battery whenever you want. ??????????????????????????????????????

AnonD-259759, 22 Oct 2015I am with you on this topic, the endurance rating for this ... moreIgnore the endurance rating as its a calculated number that can be greatly affected by even 1 flaw in the testing. For example they claim only 4.5 days standby but I guarantee that isn't correct or is a software bug that will be fixed. The average standby time these days with mobile data off and normal signal is around 8 days with some easily getting 10+. I don't see any reason why this phone should perform so much worse if everything is functioning correctly.
If the standby time was normal, endurance rating would be significantly higher.

Not to mention it is even worse than Zenfone 2, very bad impression and XiaoMi shouldn't let this happened :(

more than 3000mah battery n still a poor battery endurance rate of 55 hours ,meanwhile s6 manages appx 75 hour endurance rate with 2600 mah battery n top-notch processor n everything !!!!
never really understood this part of battery performance..
this is the only thing which wil keep me from buying mi4c
