HTC One A9 review: Rejuvenation

28 October, 2015
HTC One A9 is not just a phone, it's a corporate rejuvenation. A9 is the boost HTC needs to swim out of the murky waters and claim its piece on the market. HTC may have outed a few very capable phones this year, but it needs a game changer, a statement that the king is still alive and kicking...

How gsm say no provided fast charger
And it provided quick charger (2.0) (3.0)

How the heck it is even getting comments like "oh cool I will look to buy it " with it's battery endurance even lower than galaxy alpha (with 1860mah) it has a average performance , this phone looks like if a person wanna gift iPhone at 500$ just gift this

This phone is a flop for couple reasons : price and battery life. I also doubt they pull off in amoled department because best panel owns Samsung. I alsonhate amoled panels.

What a heck this phone! Only 2150mAh battery is a disaster for this phone in the market! I wonder why HTC can't produce phones with at least 3000mAh battery??? Wake up HTC!

are you drunk HTC? in my country LG G4 costs 370€, Samsung S6 430€, HTC M9 430€, heck even Iphone 6s 660€. Just who will by this mid range product that costs more than current year flagships?

so htc amazingly managed to put smaller battery in a phone body bigger than the galaxy s6 which even has wireless charging. way to go htc.

                            This is iPhone A9.
I'm not sure who copied who but I'm sure it looks very much like an iPhone 6.

I never have a HTC and actually like Butterfly model but its price seems over rated eventhough I can afford it.
HTC should lower their selling price to compete with mid range phones.

I think HTC have to start everything over again if they want to regain back the glory. They're now trying too hard keeping their "premium" tag to their brand while their sales decline. That makes the "supposed to be middle-range" device like this too expensive. They don't have to use fancy materials on a phone in this class, or at least for now, where people start ignoring HTC for underwhelming performance recently.
Make it cheaper with poly-carbonate, put bigger battery, and put aside the "premium" title a bit. Lowering the price tag, place it below the Samsung Galaxy A7 (or make it the same for 32/3GB model) while keep it a little more expensive than regular Chinese smartphones will do.
Also they might want to learn that a brand logo doesn't always have to be placed on the bottom-center of the front panel, especially in a phone that doesn't provide hardware/capacitive buttons. That takes too much space at the bottom the phone looks disproportionate, even a Galaxy S6 and a A5 have more compact bodies despite having hardware buttons and same screen size (A5).
                              Just my opinion.

I like the A9 but now that I know HTC made a m9 plus I wish they would have brought it to America or would have used the same design on the M9 plus on the HTC A9 with the front speakers and fingerprint sensor in the middle. I can't wait to see the M10.

The contrast of Amoled can't be infinite; amoled contrast was known to have 10,000:1 contrast.

HTC ruined my M7 with the wrong update for the camera making it purple. I got the M9, thought it was better but it's worse than the M7 and M8. The app for the radio is still from 3 generations back, they say it's FM but it's not stereo. The battery life is bad. The camera is bad. It gets too hot. It doesn't have the beat sound anymore because they are so cheap to pay for it. That's why Apple bought the beat sound. Customer service at HTC is crap. They don't know anything. What's happened with HTC instead of getting better they get worst, shame on you HTC, you f..it up. HTC instead of making phones, they should make toys. Do you not feel bad when you see all these complaints about your phones. You're not going to last long with all this b.s.
