Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) review

Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is not a successor to a particular A-series phone. It’s more of a trimmed Galaxy S8 version for the masses with matching design, screen, and the current number 8. Or so Samsung would have us believe.

          That A8 has MP4 instead of MP2 since Multicore performance is higher than Dual one.....

                It should have Mali-G71 MP4 at least to be competetive. And OIS+automatic HDR (possible to enable from a viewfinder).

                  7885 is not an improvement over the 7880, the older model has 40% faster GPU! 40%! Aside from bigger display, A8 2018 is a complete disaster of a phone for a ridiculously high price. This thing has no advantage over the S7 edge whatsoever.

                      this phone is drama: slow chip (old one with new name-look at graphic results), low quality quality of photos in night, big bezels (top,bottom) on a level of newest sony ....

If you only think bigger MP means better camera then the marketing works really well. The A8(+) doesn't even have OIS which kinda disappointing.

                                        Good battery life. This shorter review format is easier and better to read, unlike the older format which could be seen as unnecessarily long. This one is more concise without skimping on any of the important tests.
