Huawei spec is not practical. S9+ batt still need improvement. Video still iphone x better. Overall android s9+ better

tonymancs, 28 Apr 2018P20 Pro JPGs makes S9+ processing looks absolutely natural.... morePoint of p20 was to take best hdr, low light and sharpest daylight and tele shots. Overal you get all you want, pro hdr noiseless 10mp in low light, sharp 40mp in daylight, b&w, zoom and other features, but its not intended for all. As if current interpolation on sensors was not enough, they try to resolve 40mp out of 2,5mp of full color res(even if with more one colored detail). In comparison s9 got about 3mp, xz2 got about 4,5mp and 808 got 10mp. They may recreate some details right, but its still guessing, result will be less close to reality even with better processing on computer. Well, its used this way in almost, if not all cameras so its all about if you care that you got too artificial shot or not. Denoising is great in both, so is natural look at 10-12mp, but real resolution differs.
As for me its too artificial, I rather opt for xperia, which even if behind times in noise reduction, offer most natural, real sharpness.

Well when you record in 4k you'll obviously fill up storage fast, and s9+ is better in that aspect, so THAT'S why YOU won't be needing it, I guess. 10probuy

Huawei p20 pro does not have headphone jack, stereo spekars, qhd screen, memory card slot, whereas S9/S9+ have all these..

Google's very own HDR features are the best, even iPhone can't compete its X to the the 2 XL.
Somehow, I'm curious if Google is still using one camera? Variable aperture? Or dual camera system?

Samsung big time. Huawei is backed by government and its public company. Also Samsung offer sd card slot and 35mm jack. Samsung is great

i can take the p20 pro's cons, since in my country it's a half-month's salary cheaper (~$865 vs $1100). if these were priced the same it'd give the s9+ credit.
