My disappointment:
1. Bad quality display with curved edges - uncomfortable to operate. Blind copy of Samsung. Bad that they didn't copy the quality is Samsung display too.
2. Bad positioning of FPS - back is most u comfortable place to operate. Under the screen or side mounted is much more comfortable.
3. Huge camera hump for such camera quality. I understand the hump on my daughter P20 Pro with that amazing low light photos, but not that on Sirocco.
4. SD835 for 650Euro in 2018 is not acceptable.
I can continue, but will be boring.
I still keep my N8, PureView 808, 1020 and 930 from sentimental point of view. They was quality products with amazing camera for their time. 930 still works on windows 10, but Microsoft abandon it as many other things.
Pity. NOKIA is not back. At least for now.

I wonder if the Nokia 8800 Sirocco was a good phone in the first place. Was it a good phone back then or is it like the Nokia 8 Sirocco?
I'll assume that the Nokia 8800 isn't really that good. It's average.

Remember, if the spec are great in the paper doesn't mean that people will instantly buy it for God sake!!!!

This phone has the best design (stainless steel, no cheap aluminium), gorilla glass 5, octaCore processor antutu score surpasses the Galaxy Note 8, Ozo audio recording surround sound till 132db, fast 128gb internal memory, 6gb ram, fast charging, wireless charging, IP67,Android One with the latest updates, face unlock, fingerprint, etc. Everthing about it SCREAMS FLAGSHIP! And far cheaper than Samsung, Huawei or Apple!

This is not Nokia. Just HMD Global + Foxconn.
Nokia rents name in exchange of money.
This device has old cpu, poor quality screen, bad audio system, camera as bad as OP5. No stabilization for 4K videos, nor even 1080p@60. Poor battery endurance.
Abstract: it has hardware of 2017 , it costs more than 2017 flagships, but it is worse than S8, XZP, V30, Pixel 2

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2018Damn, this is one ugly phone. Remember the days, 10 to 15 years ago or so, when you held a Nokia and it was the supreme device we all wanted? I'll never forget the 8800 when I had it. This stuff is garbage. Just another Android in the sea of mediocrity. Doesn't even look like they're trying.

gone are the days wr they held a supreme place in camera iq now they are couple of places behind to the chinese competitors not even comparable to samsungs, apple or lg. Even their lumias were superior.

Meh, I would prefer to have that Nokia 8800, the classic one.
Like this if you agree.
(PS I'd use it as a business side-phone, call me old fashioned. I wouldn't replace Android, I'd have a main phone that is very strong/un-fragile like the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active)

I really like the form factor of this phone (minus the curved screen): small bezels in a 16:9 phone. But I am disappointed about the battery life. Snapdragon 835 was not very efficient, but the software also doesn't seem very well optimized.
