Anonymous, 19 Sep 2019You don't make any sense. A phone with the same screen size... moreYeah, nah.
The lattice of the LCD is 4 times as dense, the screen still needs to control each individual pixel despite it being already rendered in 1080p by the CPU.
I.e. The screen needs to decided to turn which pixels on or off independent of the resolution.

But if you gave a 3500mAh battery and a price of around 600USD, you would be a clear winner.

As I know in the first place, Xperia 5 has the same XZ1-level miracle of ER surprise, now producing 96h ER from the 3140 mAh, proving Sony's long-standing optimized battery life and battery management itself for years. I mean, people should have known this since quite a while, at least from XZ1 with its 82hr ER from 2700 mAh battery. Sure, I would recommend Sony to put more mAh, but at least Sony has proved themselves.

Wow. I was one of those haters of Sony for putting such a skimpy battery on the Xperia 5. But darn Sony really proved me wrong. Fantastic battery life.

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2019Dude you have your phone for two years and you do not know ... moreYou do know that a 4k screen still takes more power pushing all the pixels despite being in 1080p resolution, compared to a normal 1080p screen.

If only they could utilise the touchscreen tech of the mobile division and improve the touchscreen experience of their cameras.

Still can't understand why the hell Sony removed wireless charging capability while it was presented in their flagships for years. That's a bad move for sure. Also it's hard to understand how they have managed to mess up with old school physical fingerprint sensor which is the most reliable and fastest unlocking option for years by now. This two major things as well as average sound quality (which was not the case before) make this phone DON'T BUY to me for the current price tag. I would't complain if it was $500 phone though.
