Samsung is now seeing that S21/+ as a bait to tempt people into buying more expensive Ultra. That's not an upgrade, but a mere devaluation.

I could have kept going on about how an example of a camera that uses a RGB sensor is actually relevant to that topic or even shown you an instance where 50MP QB RYYB clearly outresolves 108MP Nonacell RGB sensor, but I thought I shouldn't put my nose in after you told me how the discussion had started, so I backed off. The dynamic range and noise discussions were started by ME because you had a poor understanding regarding those topics, and they were nothing to do with any other conversations you guys/we had had prior to it.
Finally, the water nozzle used for the IP65 test uses higher pressure than the value you calculated for the IP68 submersion test, albeit the water is sprayed from a distance instead of point-blank. There are other reasons why there are and should be separate passing criteria for those two tests but I won't talk about them here.

People use the lame excuse "most have case on phone" to justify the fact it has plastic.
Why bother using glass since s6 to begin with? Qi does not require glass panel.
Glass makes phone look more expensive.
Compare s5 vs s6.
Plastic makes phones look cheap.

Guys, some news...
- Samsung does not supply any new S20's to stores anymore, once the stocks are gone it stops.
- There won't be a Note line this year, only an expensive Fold line.
So yes, the S21 will be a big success.

Thing is, plastic back just screams cheap when you pick it up. Most people use a case so it doesn't matter to them. So why not just use glass for those of us who don't? You can absolutely feel the difference, glass will be colder and feel a lot nicer in the hand. Honestly, Samsung can piss off with this policy of making the regular S model inferior to its predecessors instead of making the Ultra model something special.
