It's looks cool but it's definitely not for me and too expensive and I bet with you it still won't be the number 1 in camera phone

This is EXTREMELY impressive. It's a total game changer in my opinion. This is up there with the effect of the Google Pixel 2's machine learning prowess and the Apple iPhone 13 photographic styles flexibility. These main camera shots crush everything else to date. Unfortunately, I have no intention of spending $1800 on a phone.

I have the Sony Xperia 1 ii Lake Green Limited edition and it os just wow but this new Sony Xperia Pro-I it is just Amazing !

Astonishing!
But for me who likes to take the best (Sony Xperia 1 III) it is too close.
The most important is the tel / internet part, screen (large) and audio. There it does not change and for 95% of people the photo of 5 III and 1 III are sufficient.
If I take it there will always be a lag, wanting the 1 IV when, maybe the Pro-I 2 would follow (?). The "I" is the I of Imaging and not Mark 1 ...
In Japan the Sharp Aquos R6 is a bit of the same

Zeiss are main partner with their actual camera lineup & known as high quality lens glasses, so why not?

AnonD-1014095, 26 Oct 2021Lmfao..... yea really trolllllllwell actually that has always been the most common complaint but sony is not doing anything with it. if I am a photographer and want full manual and sophisticated controls, I wouldn't use a phone to begin with. Heck a pixel 5 with a four year hardware takes better photos in point and shoot than the xperia 1 iii.
