There are samples of pro videographers doing night videos with this cam on yt, and them look fantastic. Look it up, if you havent already.

Speakers are EQed for voice and speech not for low end and loudness unlike some are doing. When it comes to battery life the only other Android phone that does significantly better is S21 Ultra due to great LTPO screen when browsing stuff. All other Android flagships are in the line when it comes to battery life with 1III/PRO-I

        i have seen the reviews especially the camera part.
        I see the results of the camera is very extraordinary.
        This camera is intended to further maximize using manual settings for the best results according to certain conditions. but the reviewers here only review the basic mode.
        I've seen a lot of reviews and how to set it up on YouTube that can give maximum results. not too difficult, just need to understand some important parts.
        Also in the review section I don't see any examples of 4k 120fps video recording where the Xperia Pro-i is very competent in this regard.
        maybe the reviewer can better understand the character and potential of the item being reviewed so that it can be maximized, not just using the basic mode.

          Anonymous, 06 Dec 2021No other phone gives PlayStation games SD card 3,5jack... moreseriously who even think to buy a new phone with this feature? 4k, 700ppi, 21:9, platstation, bla bla bla but battery endurance, speaker quality, charging speed are below average than other phone with $1000. GSMArena also found some cons about camera for a phone arguably camera phone for $1800.

                      I have just compared the Pro-I to 5 II - video comparison 2160.
                      Tell me, why is the PRO by far worse than the 5 II ?
                      Look at Mr Darwin's beard on the 10 Pound bill, good light or low light; Pro-I is terrible.

                        You have video compare tool.
                        Pro-I is IMO for ex equal to iphone, and better than S21 Ultra in detail/sharpness. Mi Ultra is better in detail, but then again much more noisy. Whether one or the other quality is better for video, remains in the eye of a videographer, whilst you have arenas opinion here. IMO noise is more of a problem than sharpness in video, especialy in lowlight.

                        Then again, for ex, real life night samples are recorded with regular or video pro, then compared to mi Ultra recorded at sunset (not night), that has autoHDR out of the box. But I dont see any HDR video mention for Pro-I. Did arena turn it on? On Xperia HDR for video is turned off out of the box (as seen in their app description section). And they claim to test out of the box.
                        The samples look more SDR than HDR to my eyes. Was it turned on or was it not? If not where is the HDR video sample then? Ask them.

                        Its kinda nonsensical to comment on dynamic range compared to other autoHDR phones, if HDR video wasnt even recorded.

                        And in the end, the exclusive autofocus (video eyeAF and video object tracking), and dedicated video app extras, which are extremely important for videography, arent even tested per se here, and thats the main point/rationale of this phone.

                            You're actually on some circus-type beat if you don't understand why the phone has good EIS compared to others.

                            Maybe go learn how EIS works and why this phone would have amazing EIS for video before you go make a comment like that again. It's pathetic how much you get off to just saying anything bad about Sony. They aren't perfect, but they aren't as bad as you're making them out to be.

A BIG "Thank you" for saving me sp... morewrong place of late as a finalizer. the balkans are strongly under the present day 3K's thumb, and thereby affability towards/against a device depends on the parent's source of funding. its a way of survival but the results are unremarkably inveigled.

                                        sometimes they do actually do it right but i've found several devices utterly dissed by them to be perfectly fine and fantastic. this unfortunate change is only in the recent years, and pretty much region-wide, not just an affliction of this spot of the internet, though how aware the denizens are, i know not.

                                        but self-introspection is irresistible though the inevitable that will happen won't be due to a duke's ostrich this time. probably.
