    Not really innovation. Make it full from glass with replaceable battery, cheaper, under 500 dollars (yes cheap and good is the best innovation).

          You guys ROCK! A BIG "Thank you" for saving me spend my money on something I didn't need at all... I've had the sealed box on my table unopened for like 10 days, while I was waiting for the complete review you posted. You're definately a benchmark in the industry (not from yesterday), and I took my time to read the full review twice, although I was watching all other reviews since 5 weeks, you are the final instance for me, taking my decision. I have to say you guys've mastered the "not so rude manner" of saying when something is wrong very well, and I'm sure you wanted to share a ton more info about if it's worth or not. In my case, this just isn't the right product for me. That was another sign of this division going down straight, which isn't making me happy as a fan. I've just sold the thing, and I hope there will be better times for that company. Wish you all Happy Holidays and be safe!

            But nobody forbids you to use gcam, raw image capturing even via native cam - with raw dng's you get about 95% of pure raw data, overriding processing etc. Its like day&night difference.
            I use Mi 11 Ultra, even raw video is now possible in recent weeks, it works amazing. As so lovely is lumia 1020 or 808 output, its behind.

I am a professional photo... moreThat's because of few things: You use your phone for drafting shots and your phone has very basic manual controls or your phone has some manual controls that are spread out all over the screen that you use for framing shots so it all gets in your way. Sometimes they are even hidden so its really takes some time to even find the option to turn off HDR shooting when you want to shoot against light source.

The sensors on newer flagships (especially mi11 ultra, pixel 6/6pro, Xperia Pro I) is definitely better than 808/1020, so in theory should output better photos, but due to aggressive post-processing, edge enhancement etc it becomes rubbish. I'd really like to see a true successor to the 808 and 1020.

                              Most likely to keep the phone slim, you have better EIS for video which is why this is advertised as a vlogging device. You should be able to shoot multi-aspect photos without actually rotating the device, but I dunno if Sony gonna put that in.

In fact, the idea itself has existed since 2018. As if M43 is not enough, Zeiss themselves made an Android-powered camera with a Full Frame sensor**.
