mutlak, 22 Feb 2022Where's the front facing video and stabilization test ... moregiven that it probably has the same useless 16MP quad-bayer sensor as my X7 Max, selfies would be pretty bad/average (I anyways dont care much since it's only sparingly used for video chat which is already compressed), but when I take selfies, it's usually with GCam-it does look a bit over-sharpened but it's way better in terms of detail (imperfections and all) but has worse HDR than the stock cam.
1080p selfie video has stabilization option (on my phone, but 9P+ should have it too), you can check it in the X7 Max review-it works pretty well but is cropped, so it's a tighter frame

Where's the front facing video and stabilization test video? You always had them in your reviews. Is it because the stabilization is bad like what I saw in other people's reviews? And the camera quality is not what the marketing boasted. Please be more transparent about reviewing realme phones.

Mess... moreIf the phone has NFC - it's in specs, as well as Pros as part of the conclusion. If the phone doesn't offer NFC - it's in Cons after the verdict.
The Realme 9 Pro+ has NFC for the EU markets.
When NFC is a market-dependent feature, as some markets have regulations for it, we cannot really say with certainty which countries get NFC and which don't. We just don't have that information. We have official specs for the global unit and the unit we have for review.

The Realme 9 Pro+ employs the new Dimensity 920 chipset by MediaTek. It's a 6nm chip with an integrated 5G modem.
The Dimensity 920 has an octa-core processor with 2x Cortex-A78 cores @ 2.5GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
This SoC has a quad-core Mali-G68 GPU, which should offer pretty decent graphics performance for the mid-range class.
The Dimensity 920 chip supports the latest connectivity standards - dual 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band GPS."

Last years midrange phones offered better value for money though. This years midrangers from Xiaomi and Realme are not really offering anything great at all in terms of price to performance ratio and are in many areas worse than phones from last year which are now available for similar prices

EIS is needed to make videos steady. OIS is not really meant for that. It helps more with handshake when taking photos especially in lower light situations when the shutter speed needs to be slower.
