I just do not see the point. Smartphones have tiny screens and awful controls. If you want to have fun use a PC, so much better in every regard. Although, again, i could see how a gameboy emulator might be fun.
Then again, the other guy wants to emulate Windows to play 10 year old AAA games, that certainly is a very tiny niche...

Go with anything with SD 865 and 870 - best chips to date. I switched Samsung S20 to S22 Ultra, and i see no difference in daily usage.

I'm not talking about 80s NES games. They're garbage. The best games are from late 90s to about 2010. They're objectively much better than modern games. The truth hurts you and you can't think rationally.

You ca... moreThe purpose of a smartphone is to be a pocket size, portable computer and all-in-one multipurpose tool (camera, offline GPS navigator, flashlight, FM Radio, ...). This has always been the case, even at Symbian days. This means smartphones are also portable gaming machines. Fortunately most console emulators run perfectly on smartphones. And old video games are much better than modern video games.
And you are wrong again. Emulation on smartphones is popular.

But in time it would become a fullbaked feature mode for flagship smartphones even Apple is planning on getting on 8k video

Im not a big fan of TSMC, but samsung foundary is very disgusting.. What’s wrong with them? Samsung’s 4nm is definitely not similar of TSMC’s 5nm. Please go back age of 10nm FinFET Qualcomm Snapdragon 865…

What you can do is look at how a company's best compares with the best of the others.

You can just download and install it on a PC, you know that, right? You can even get good performance, useable controls and a large screen.
Are there really more than a dozen people out there trying to do something as bizzarre as that?
This isn't even a niche application, its a niche within a niche within a niche, for people who spend hundreds of bucks on a device, but instead of getting a device whatcan do what they want (gaming) they buy an underpowered handgeld device and try to mangle it into doing what it was definitely not supposed to do.
