It is disappointing, mostly because they recycled the same chip as last year.

So Xiaomi made this phone more expensive, downgraded the gorilla glass from 6 to 5, downgraded from Snapdragon 780g to 778g made the phone 20 grams heavier, reduced screen size, removed SD card slot.
There's only two improvements, camera and screen. To me this phone looks worst than the previous mi 11 lite 5g in every way.

Those who would consider choosing this phone over an iPhone because it's a few dollars cheaper.
So that these individuals could claim that they spend less on their phones, or that iPhones costs a fortune.
Last I checked iPhones easily retains 25% of their value (after 5 years) through trade in. (Xiaomi would be near $0.
Keep in mind that you'd be using this Xiaomi phone for a much shorter time, while deciding on your next phone after just merely 2 years because of pure disappointment.
